RYDEL POV
its been 2 weeks since ross has been in the hospital. we all figured out that laura was the last one to talk to ross but no one talked to her since. many people have come in like bridget and our grandparents
"mom?"i ask her sitting next to me
"yeah?"she asks
"do you think ross will die?"i ask and she imediatly wraps her arms around me and kisses my head. i lean my head on her chest crying
"ross lynch?"a doctor comes back and we all stand up
"im so sorry but ross lynch seemed to have lost his other half. so unless she comes here today there is little we can do to save him"he walks away and we change glances choosing who has to call laura. all eyes land on me. i roll my eyes then call her
laura?
delly? whats up?
you need to come back now
i told ross no. im not coming back ever
thats wh- nevermind. no you need to come back ross is in the hospital
what why?
the doctor said he lost his other half so you need to come
what makes you think im his other half. why dont you call carly
would you stop? ross loves you why cant you just drop it?
he broke my heart. now im gone. i may still love him but im 3000 miles away. i cant help him
are you serious laura? you would let him die?

i hang up the phone and call carly
carly?
delly? whats up?
you need to come to the hospital ross is here

i hang up and walk back to everyone
"ok lauras not coming but carly is"they all look at me
"why isnt laura coming and why carly?"vanessa asks
"laura told me to call carly becuse shes not his other half and that carly is"i explain then everyone sits down and waits for carly
LAURA POV
"whats wrong laura?"jake asks
"ross is in the hospital. we have to go"i stand up and grab my jacket
"we?"he asks and i nod then he stands up and we race to the airport
CARLY POV
i run into the hospital and i see all the lynches there
"hey"rydel walks up to me and we hug
"i need you to tell the doctors that you are ross's other half"she says and i look at her
"i called larua but she told me to call you. please. i cant loose my brother"she was about to cry but i calmed her down and nodded. we both walked into his room to see doctors all around him
"we got his other half here"rydel pulls me out from behind her and i slowly walked towards his bed
"ross?"i say
"we will give you some space"all the doctors and rydel leave
"i dont know if you can hear me but you cant die. your family loves you"i grab his hand and let a tear fall "i love you"i sqeeze his hand a little
LAURA POV
"ok what room is ross lynch in?"i call the hospital
"he is in room 5R"the lady says then i hang up
"hes in room 5R"jake and i walk into the hospital to see all the lynches in the waiting room
"laura? what are you doing here?"rydel stands up
"i cant let ross die. i love him" i run to his room with jake behind me. i walk to the door but i first look through the door and see carly. i carefully watch
CARLY POV
"ross. please wake up"i sqeeze his hand again and cry even more. i cry into his blanket still holding his hand. then i feel his fingers moving. i look up
"ross?"i whisper and he sqeezes my hand back
"ross!"i yell excited then he opens his eyes
"wh- what happened?"he asks
"you fainted and laura was supposed to come but she didnt"he looks down at our hands
"come here"he whispers and i get closer then he uses all his strength to kiss me
LAURA POV
i watch carly and ross until carly leans in and kisses him. i walk backwards away from the window
"whats wrong?"jake asks
"i was wrong. ross didnt kiss carly. she kissed him"i open the door imediatly and they both look at me
"laura"carly says
"what are you doing kissing him?"i ask angry
"stop!"ross yells and i look at him
"i kissed her. she told me that you werent coming"he says
"becasue rydel told me that i had to pretend to be his other half in order to save him"i keep my eyes on ross
"and you still woke up? so if i were here earlier you would have woken up?"i ask him folding my arms
"i dont know"i stare at him in disbelief
"how do you not know ross. you have to choose its either me or her"i scream at him
"fine i choose carly so you can go back to conneticut with your new family"he yells back then i start crying and run out. i dont run to the car, i run further. i run all the way to the hill. when i there, i look out on the city then scream. i scream and fall to my knees still screaming. i screwed up everything. that was supposed to be ross and i with the twins. opening christmas presents or picking pumpkins out at the pumpkin patch. teach them how to add and subtract. we were supposed to be the perfect family. but its all gone now. all because i screwed up. i never should have took those pills or cut myself. i never should have ran away from my parents. i wish i never meet him on the hill
