After partys and breakups

LAURA POV
Ross and I walk in with linked arms to a room filled with tables and balloons and loud music
"Are you sure your ok?"ross asks me
"Um not really but I'll talk to you after dinner"I say not looking at him
"Laura-"I cut him off
"Please. Ross I said later I can't do this right now"he nods then we sit down and riker walks in carrying vanessa bridal style
"Let's give it up to mr and mrs lynch"the DJ says then everyone claps and they sit down. Everyone got their food then we started eating. I just push my food around my plate then I look and see ross staring at me
"What"I rudely say
"What is wrong with you?"he asks with madness in his voice and I sigh
"Ok now it's time for dancing"the DJ says and everyone gets up. I stand up and leave but ross follows me
"Laura can you just stop and talk to me?"he grabs my wrist and spins me around. I look at him with tears in my eyes. He pulls me into a room and locks the door
"What's wrong?"he asks and I burst into more tears
"Ross we can't keep pretending that this relationship is real. I'm sorry I turned you on last night but it was a mistake"I cry my eyes out
"Laura please don't do thi-"I cut him off
"We're done"I finally say and he looks at me
"Last night was not a mistake to me"he gets closer to me
"No. It's just to complicated now. Vanessa is pregnant and my mom? I can't stay here anymore"I grab the door knob but he grabs my wrist and turns me around. All of a sudden I feel lips connected to mine. When we finally pull apart w lean our foreheads on eachothers
"I love you and only you"he whispers and I sigh then slowly pull away and walk out
"Hey girl"rydel walks up to me
"Oh hey"I say back frustrated
"What happened in there?"she asks pointing to the door
"Um ross and I just broke up"I look down
"Laura"she whines
"Sorry"I walk away frustrated. I know she wants me to be with ross but I can't. Then I run into riker
"Oh sorry"I say not looking at him
"Hey Laura. Oh I heard about you and ness. I'm sorry"he says and I give him a weak smile
"Do you want to dance?"he then asks and I look at him
"Oh no I don't think I should"I start walking away
"Come on laura please"I stop then look at him. He smiles then pulls me on the dance floor and we start slow dancing
"See nothing is happening"I sigh then look and I see ness looking at us. Then I look and see Ross staring at me leaning up against a door frame. I also see bridget and rydel looking at us
"Riker. Everyone is staring at us"he looks around then back at us
"I'm leaving riker. I can't be here anymore. Vanessa is pregnant. My mom is pregnant. Ross and I broke up. I- I can't stay here"I let go of riker and walk away and out the door. I catch a cab then he drives me to the hotel. I open my door then slam it shut crying my eyes out
ROSS POV
"Hey riker I saw you and laura dancing. What happened?"I ask worried
"No everything is fine she was just overwhelmed with vanessa and her mom and you"he says the last word quieter. I was about to say something but then vanessa came over
"Riker can I talk to you?"he nods then they start dancing and I walk away
VANESSA POV
"So I saw you dancing with laura"I start the conversation swaying back and forth
"Sorry ness but she was overwhelmed"he says and kisses my forehead
LAURA POV
I lay on my bed until my phone rings. I look and see its ross. I roll my eyes then decline the call and instead call bridget
Hello?
Bridget oh my gosh please pick me up I-
Shhh laura it's ok where are you?
I'm at the hotel please hurry
Ok I will be there soon bye
I hang up then throw my phone and walk to the window
"Time to say goodbye ross"I whisper while crying. Then someone knocks on the door. I walk to it and open it
"Hey Laura what happened I thought you were at the wedding where's ross?"she walks in still asking a lot of questions. I close the door and face her
"Well vanessa hates me and ross and I broke up"I sit next to her on the bed
"What?"she whines just like rydel did
"Jeez why does everyone do that?"I sigh then fall back in frustration
"Well I said that because you and ross are meant to be together"I look at her still laying down
"I Uh I have to go. My plan is going to be here soon"I sit up and stumble around grabbing my stuff
"Do you need me to drive you to the airport?"Bridget asks
"No. Don't follow me and do not tell ross that I'm leaving"I scold then walk out of the room and downstairs. I breathe in the air before getting into a cab and driving to the airport the whole time looking out the window crying.
When we finally get to the airport I walk in very slowly. There is still a part of me that wishes that ross would rush through the door and tell me everything is going to be ok but I know he's not so I keep walking. I sit on the plane and look out the window trying not to cry all the way back to Connecticut
