I stood up and was about to go back inside but then ally drove up
"Hey lar get in"she yells
"Hold on please I just need to tell Ross I still love"I was about to open the door
"No hurry up"she yells sounding mad. I sigh before walking to her car and she drives off back to her house. We walk in and there is food on the table
"Hey kids come on in"her mom gestures for us to sit. We sit down and start eating
"So lar have you decided if your going to the dance?"ally asks and they both look at me
"Uh I don't know. I don't even have a date"I look back down
"Have Jake take you after all he did invite you"I shrug
"So it's settled. Tomorrow you and I are going to the dance"she claps exited and I just give her a fake smile and look down moving my food on my plate. All I can think about is Ross. Then I stand up
"Um excuse me I need to call someone"I walk away and pull out my phone I quickly dial Ross number

Then the line goes dead. I put my phone away then run to my room and jump on my bed. I cry into my pillow for ever. Then allys mom knocks on the door. I wipe my tears then sit up
"Hey Laura are you ok?"she walks in with roses
"Uh yeah I'm fine thanks"I wipe another tear
"Well these are for you"she hands the roses over to me then leaves. I grab the note and open it
It's for the best. We will be together soon~love Ross
I start crying again and hold the roses. Then I look on my neck and realize that I'm still wearing the necklace. I look at it one last time before ripping it off my neck and throwing it on the floor. Then I take a rose and one by one throw them on the floor with the necklace. I get off my bed and start going through my stuff. All the pictures of Ross and I are thrown on the ground. The love letter he gave me goes on the floor. Then I stop to look at everything on the floor. Last but not least is the picture of us at the bowling alley. I drop it on the floor then walk to the window. I lean against the wall and start sliding down it. I look out my door and see another door across from it. I get up and investigate. My door has a small amount of room then the stair. I slowly open the other door and pull the string to turn on the light. There I see a keyboard sitting there with a microphone and amps. I pull them out and put them in my room. I sit at the keyboard. I start playing around with some notes then I play an actual song

I stop playing and stare at the keys on the keyboard. I shed a little tear then it turns into more tears. Then I start falling asleep
"Laura please talk to me"Ross runs towards me
"Ross I can't my dad is going to kill you"he doesn't listen to me and just walks right up to me. He is face to face with me then a gunshot goes off and Ross falls into my chest. I look up after catching him and see my dad with a gun
"Ross"I sob and he looks at me
"Wake..... up"he whispers
"What? No Ross Ross no"I shake him
"Wake up"he says again
"Laura wake up"ally shakes me and I jolt up
"Ugh finally anyway hurry up were going to be late for school. But her today's pajama day"I ignore her and just sit staring at the floor
"Wh- why am I on the keyboard?"I look at ally
"You must have fallen asleep but Laura you sure your ok?"I nod then stand up
"Where's the bathroom?"she points down the stairs and I run
"Hey Lau-"I ignore allys mom and run straight into the bathroom and throw up. Soon ally is right behind me. I look up at her
"I need Ross please after the dance tonight can you drop me off?"she nods then I throw up again. I finally get up then get ready
We arrive at school and all our friends join us
"Hey guys"Spencer waves for us to sit down
"Guys great news"ally excitedly says while sitting down. She points to me and everyone faces me
"I'm going to the dance"I say and everyone cheers
"Ok so now progress report. Austin and ally are carpooling with Justin and I"Selena exclaims
"Oh Laura who are you going with?"I give her a confused look then Jake talks
"I'll take her"he smiles at me and I smile back
"Ok so then Bridget, Spencer, demi, jake, and Laura you guys can meet us there"then selena turns so her back is to us and talks to ally. Weird
"So lar I'll pick you up tonight at 6 ok?"I nod then the teacher walks in and Jake stops looking at me. I smile then look down
