I am a badass, and I recognize that you, too, are a badass.

Parking my bike, I pocketed my keys and slinged my bag loosely on my shoulders. People stared at me as I walked by, humans with calculative glances as though sizing me up while the werewolves stared with hostility, even growling as I walked past them.

Being the sadastic bitch I was, I flashed them all a hundred watt smile and saluting mockingly. They bristled with anger at me being a downright arrogant bitch right beneath their noses.

His highness was nowhere in sight but it didn't bother me.  Look, I didn't blame him for underestimating me but clearly the guy had the ego the size of the planet. Most people did just because I was a girl.

A female werewolf with rather revealing clothes hissed at me to which I responded by giving her the middle finger as if to say I ain't got no time for sluts, sista, which technically I was saying.

I walked to my locker and dialed the combination.

"Hey," a voice came from my left and I turned, raising my eyebrows, smirking slightly. It was the same boy, Oliver or whatever. His bruises were fading but only slightly. Some of these days I was going to teach him how to throw a mean punch so that he wouldn't end up having a black eye.

"Hi," I responded, shrugging before taking out my books. "Did those guys bother you or anything?"

He shuffled, vaguely embarrassed. "No, not really. I was wondering whether I could walk with you to the next class." I felt like laughing. I was totally riding off the high of having gotten underneath Mr. Alpha's skin last night. It's a shame he wasn't here. Oh well.

Human girls gave me weird looks as we passed by which was sort of understandable. I was wearing a black jacket, a black shirt with  'Go To Hell' on it and tight black skinny jeans, and high heeled boots, seeming as though I belonged to some gang and I was accompanied by a geek kid.

Hey call him a geek but this kid looked smart. I liked smart people.

Not that I cared about what people thought.

I entered my Trig class only to be hit by his Highness's scent. I threw an irritated glance at his sulking figure. My wolf stirred but not much, not since I had words with her yesterday.  She had shouted like a nut at me for hours until I told her to shut up.

His three sidekicks cracked their knuckles intimidating at me which pissed me off. I eyed them letting my Alpha side in my glare which had them nearly peeing in their pants. Mr. Alpha wannabe narrowed his eyes at me.

Although anger ignited in his green eyes like a blaze, I studied lust in their which had me shivering in discomfort. Yet it ignited a heat within the lower pits of my stomach.Oh hell, I didn't need this crap.

I didn't need to see any of this.

I placed an arm around Oliver's shoulder just to piss him off. A faint growl reached my ears but I chose to ignore it. If Oliver was surprised by my intimate contact, he didn't show it. I sighed before taking out my i-Pod and inserting my headphones. I was acing  an A+ in Trig currently but not because I ever listened to the stupid teacher, not even back home but because math was my thing. I listened to music and worked on until Oliver tapped me on the shoulder, telling me that the bell had rung.

I brushed my hair out of my face, "I have a free period dude."

Oliver blushed and I fought to keep a straight face. Though he looked my age, maybe a year younger, this guy was such an omega...it aroused my instincts to protect him from the cruel world. "Oh, well I had Physics...I better get going..."
