Tress's POV:

My head throbbed, my body ached and my throat was parched.

I couldn't remember what had happened.

Except there was a lot of pain.

Groaning, I tried to rub my eyes only to find my hands couldn't reach my eyes.

I tried again.

My head throbbed worse.

By now, I had realized that something was wrong.

I felt severe pain in my joints.

Squinting, I looked down to find my arms bound in chains.

The more I pulled, the more the chains tightened.

What the hell? When did I get bound in chains?

Alert and alarmed, I felt my hackles raise as I woke up fully and found myself in a rusty dark room.

Sniffing, I realized that the walls were lined with silver.

Where the hell was I?

I tried to stand up but it seemed like they were bound as well.

I cried out as I felt something sting against my skin.

With a flash, my memories started coming back to me. The last thing I remembered was me running out after Jason and then something hard hit me from behind and a voice. It had sounded familiar but I couldn't make out the words.

With a jolt, it dawned upon me that I had probably been kidnapped.

The dark empty cellar and the chains sort of made my predicament clear.

I heard a moan.

I jumped, startled, until I realized was the one who had moaned.

My voice was so hoarse that it had been completely unrecognizable. As my vision adjusted to the dark surroundings, I noticed lumps all over the place.

They were not moving.

There was no sound. And the stench was all over the place.

It was the reek of decaying flesh.

My breath caught as bile rose up my throat.

I licked my suddenly dry lips. With dawning horror, I realized that there were corpses all over the floor.

Suddenly the room was illuminated with light. The bright light hurt my eyes and I blinked several times to clear away the white spots.

The chains around my leg tightened and I let out a scream as my legs began to sting. The pain got unbearable that I instinctively curled into a ball. All horrible memories rose up to the surface of my brain.

"Hello Teressa. I was so disappointed when you didn't show up for our 'date'," a voice said pleasantly.

Aghast, I looked up to see Oliver's grinning face looking down on me with malice in his eyes.

Through the blinding pain, I had trouble grasping the concept.

Oliver? Sweet, shy Oliver? Oliver was a Hunter?

There was someone else there as well. I couldn't make out their face as the pain began to cloud my vision.

I felt myself succumb to the darkness once more.

***

When I came around, I was tied to a bed, with my mouth gagged and silver binding my feet and hands. I felt the stinging in my wrists and knew that there would be scars later.
