These feelings keep growing as the river keeps flowing

Sarah's POV:
I never cried before.
Not even when my mother died on my fifth birthday.
Or when our pet dog died in a car accident.
I never cry.
Yet, here I was, crying.
Two days since that bastard had come and gone. Two days since he had shattered my heart. I never thought it would hurt this bad. I can actually sympathize with my brother. Both these siblings were playing with our hearts.
I was being bitter. I knew somewhere deep down that I was being unfair. That it wasn't her fault. Girls generally know when a girl's trying to be hard to get and when a girl's been through a lot.
But that still didn't forgive what they both did.
But instead of mopping around like my brother, I had realized that crying will get me nowhere and I was not one who sat back without doing anything.
I got whatever I needed.
I was going to confront my mate and get him to grovel on my feet for rejecting me, albeit indirectly. I was going to make him want me. I was going to make him beg for mercy.
It was going to be hard but I was a girl who thrived on danger.
And that son of a bitch was going to get how dangerous I was.
I quickly put on a ton of makeup, slipped on a very flashy dress that reached up to my thigh and zipped up my boots. I glanced at the time. 12.00 a.m.
A wry smile turned up the corners of my mouth. Right on time.
My wolf growled her approval. Most of the time, I let my sassy wolf lead my life, really. What was the harm anyway? She was a part of me, the wild child within me.
Watch who you are calling a wild child, girl, she growled playfully. If I wasn't feeling so shit, I probably would have retorted with an equally sarcastic reply. But I said nothing, only reaching for the doors of my car as quietly as possible. It would be hard getting past the guards stationed on the boundary but I was more worried about getting them to stay quiet about this night pass.
Afterall, I bet it was Lea and Nial who were on guard tonight. I trusted Lea to keep it a secret but that loyal bastard, Nial was my brother's lapdog. It would take a lot of convincing to keep him quiet.
Or maybe, I could blackmail him. Afterall, I did know of his interludes with Trisha, the thot of the pack, before he saw Lea. Not that he knew that I knew.
As I expected, I was stopped at the borders by none other than Lea.
She raised her eyebrows at me as I lowered the window of my Ferrari. "May I ask where exactly do you think you are going?"
I grinned, "Let's say, it's party time."
She shook her head, grinning slightly and I could tell that she wanted to go with me. This girl, Lea, had a wild streak in her, just like mine. No wonder she was my bestfriend, apart from Tress. Little did her mate know what a wild girl she was. Only me and Tress knew of her status as Rocket.
