I'm air drying my hair on facetime with Quackity. He's hyping me up for my first date with Nick tonight.

"Are you nervous?" he asks.

"Not really actually," I take a sip of water, "It's just Nick. I can trust him, and I know we get along."

"But do you get along when it's in a date perspective?" Quackity messes with something on his desk.

"Well gosh, when you put it that way." My heart pounds a little harder.

"I'm just mentaly preparing you," he laughs, "It's not exactly-"

A knock interrupts my attention from Quackity.

"Hold that thought," I say. I walk over to the door with the phone still in my hand.

The door doesn't wait for me to open it. The door swings open itself, revealing Clay and George standing in front of me.

"You should hide your key better," Clay holds up a silver key that is usually hidden under a flower pot.

"What are you guys doing here?" I ask, questioning if I ever told them where the key was.

"We're here to help you get ready for your hot date," George shrugs as if it's the most obvious thing in the world.

"Who's at the door?" Quackity asks, not knowing what was going on, "Is that George?"

"Lord knows you need it," Dream says as they walk into my house.

"Oh yeah, come on in," I roll my eyes before shutting the door behind them. "What about Nick? Doesn't he need help?"

"Already picked it out," George waves it off, turning left to go down my hall.

"Where are you going?" I call out but receive no response.

"George, you want water?" Clay yells from my fridge in his not-so-inside-voice. Oh gosh my neighbors.

"Sure!" George yells back.

"You answer him but not me?" I ask, following Clay down the hall even though this is my own house.

"Is that Quackity?" George takes my phone from me.

I roll my eyes. "I don't need three people."

"What time is Nick picking her up again?" Clay asks as he hands George the water.

"Seven," George and I respond at the same time. I glare at him before plopping on my bed.

Clay glances over me once. He makes a distorted face but holds a slight smile the entire time. "You may need three people."

He's lucky I know he's joking.

"She needs us because she's late to literally everything," Quackity laughs.

My mouth pops open. "I am not."

"Our movie plans last week?" Clay raises his eyebrows.

"That one time we were planning to stream at seven and you started at ten," Quackity adds.

"Literally yesterday for dinner," George laughs.

I stick my chin up. "I don't see your point."

George picks up my bottle of perfume and smells it. He holds it off to Clay, who bends over to smell it as well.

"Coconutty," Clay says in all seriousness. George nods along in approval.

"I didn't say you guys could come into my room," I cross my arms.
