Chapter 13

"So, you dropped out because Shinsou was brainwashing your team the whole time during the cavalry battle?" I clarify
"Yeah, so I'm telling you now to be carful, don't respond to anything he says to you" Ojiro reply's sternly
"Alright then, thanks I guess"
"Kick his butt for me"

I give him a fake salute "Rodger that. I'll kick his butt for you. You can count on that. So whatever happens just know I plan to do that"
"What are you planning?" He questions
"I just wanna see what this guys got"

I walk out into the arena, and see Shinsou standing on the other side.

Nemuri starts the count down "3...2...1...BEGIN!"

Neither of us move form our spot

The whole stadium is quite, watching, waiting, wondering.

You'd think the guy who accuses other's of not being fit to be in the hero course would make the first move and show what he's capable of.

"Are you just gonna stand there?" I ask, shoving my hands in my pockets.

Now, I know what this looks like.
I look like I'm a cocky a**hole.
But I'm trying to make a point here. This guy is no threat to me. Neither is anyone else here.
I've fought every kind of villian out there, a few high schoolers don't scare me.

He glares at me, but instead of getting into a fighting stance, he copies me and puts his hands in his pockets too

I could end this whole thing in 2 seconds by sending him flying out of the arena with my telekinesis. But where's the fun in that?

"Aren't you supposed to be in jail or something?" He asks, still grinning

I raise an eyebrow, he's trying to make me look bad.

"You're the vigilante Deku right?" he continues

Over the intercom Aizawa spits out his drink, most likely coffee, but surprisingly the crowd is still silent.

I stare at him for a minute before slowly nodding.
A flash a annoyance appears on his face for a moment.

"So, shouldn't you be in jail?"
"Jail's no joke man." I say seriously
"You've been there?" He asks a bit surprised
"Once, in monopoly"

A few laughs come from the crowd

He scowls "How'd a guy like you get into the hero course?"
"What is this 20 questions?"

Then the world stops. What the hell I can't move.

Oh, I get it now. He needs a verbal response to use his brain washing quirk.
That's one heck of a quirk, a real pain in the a**

"Walk out of the arena"

Excuse you?
There is no way I'm gonna lose like this!
I didn't even hit the guy!

My body starts to move on it's own and starts to walk toward the out of bounds lines

I refuse to be know as the guy that lost by walking out of bounds.
Plus, I told Ojiro I would win

I'm a few steps away from utter embarrassment.

Ojiro was able to break out somehow.
I'm not going be beat by some stuck up a**hole.
I can't lose! Well, not like this at least
How was Ojiro able to get out of this?
I wanna punch him so bad 

Wait, I've got it

I came up with this a while ago when I was fighting a dude with a paralyzing quirk, I was doing good for a bit till he hit me with a sword and then licked my blood of it.
It was disturbing to say the least. But anyway, he was about to, you know un-alive me. When I did what I like to call 'pulsing'.

Basically, I let out a a tone of telekinetic energy at once, it leads to some collateral damage but they have Cementoss on standby for a reason.
If It worked then It'll work now right?

I pulse. The ground around me breaks and wind swirls.
"Haha! I'm free!" I yell out in victory

I turn around with a huge smile on my face and dash toward Shinsou. I punch him square in the face then grab his arm and throw him over my shoulder and out of bounds.

"Shinsou is out of bounds! MIDORIYA WINS!!!!" Yamahada yells

Shinsou looks at me in disbelief "How did you-"
"Look, you lost cause you relied on your quirk and nothing else. You didn't even try to hit me. Your quirk is impressive I'll admit, but it can only get you so far, next time we fight, you better hit me." I say interrupting him
"Uh, right" He says getting up

We shake hands

"Are you really Deku though?" He asks
"The one and only"

Ya'll gotta admit that was clever. I'm very proud that I thought of that. I was gonna continue but it just feels right to leave it at that. I'll try to make the next chapter longer and to do the Todoroki and Midoriya fight. I'm surprised at how many of you are reading this.
