The one and only: Deku

Chapter 24

Iida POV:

"No, we're done here Prez. I don't want to hear anything else form you" Midoriya says

I wish he would yell at me again, tell me how much of an idiot I am, how I endangered not only my life but the lives of others as well.
But most of all, I wish he hadn't called me Prez.

Him calling me Prez was like a punch to the gut, a wave of guilt washed over me as I took in fully what I had just gotten myself into.

I was gonna try to k!ll Stain.

That's not what a hero does, a hero doesn't go seeking out revenge. I'm a sorry excuse for a hero- no I'm not even a hero yet, I'm a student at UA who doesn't even have a hero license.

If I had actually managed to have killed Stain then what? I doubt I would have been praised, I would have been expelled, arrested possibly!

I look at Todoroki who stares at me with a blank expression. Midoriya limped over to the hero Stain had attacked and helped him up. The hero then insisted on carrying Midoriya but he refused. After some light bickering, Midoriya agreed to use the hero as support to walk.

None of them look at me.

Todoroki had grabbed some rope and tied Stain up. All of Stains weapons laid on the ground out of his reach in case he woke up.

I follow the others as they walk out of the ally, Todoroki drags Stain by the rope and Midoriya and the hero limp together using one another as support.

I keep my head down, I'm filled with guilt, embarrassment, and utter shame as I follow behind.

When we get out of the ally we hear voices yelling

"I found them!"  A woman yells running

As it turns out, Todoroki's Father sent some hero's to our location, this included the hero Midoriya was intending under.

"I told you to stay on the train!" The older hero yelled
"No, you told me to watch the passengers! I did that and then went to where there was a f*cking city on fire!" Midoriya yelled back

They continue yelling at each other before Midoriya apologizes and the older hero just grins a bit shaking his head
"You've got the heart of a true hero Toshinori "
"Midoriya" Midoriya corrects with a small smile
"Whatever Togita" the older hero reply's

Midoriya stops using the hero as support after a while when an ambulance shows up, he lets the hero in first.
"He was already injured when we got here, he should be treated first" Midoriya explained

"Now that I think about it, what happened to you kids anyway?" A hero asks

Todoroki steps to the side and let's the hero's see Stain wrapped in rope and unconscious.

They stare at him in horror "But you guys are just kids! How-"

Midoriya holds out his hand to the hero "Japans savior and all around best hero: Deku, pleasure to meet ya" he introduces himself
"Again, your just a kid! And weren't you arrested-" The hero says
"Eh it's a long story" Midoriya shrugs cutting him off.

Midoriya starts explaining to the hero's what happened when Todoroki shouts "DUCK!"

"Since when are there ducks in-" Midoriya starts but then gets pulled up into the air by a nomu.
