The one and only: Deku

Chapter 18

Deku:

It's been a few days sense the sports festival and Katsuki refuses to talk to me. During the award ceremony he ended up being chained to a wall and All might put the medal in his mouth because Katsuki wouldn't let All might put it around his neck.

Good times

Anyway, when I got home that day mom gave me an earful. She was upset that I had basically ignored her after the USJ incident and that I never told her about my new fire trick. But after about half an hour of yelling at me she hugged me saying that she passed out at least 4 times while watching the sports festival out of worry.

"Sounds like you did more work than me"
"Don't mock your mother" she said breaking the hug.
"I'm just glade it's over" I said sitting on the couch
"You sure about that?" She asked
"What do you mean?"
"It's not over for Katsuki, based on the way he acted during the awards give out, I'd be surprised if he ever forgives you"
"He's acting like he wanted to lose to me" i sighed
"Well, not only are you his best friend but your also Deku. The vigilante that is said to have never lost a fight...until now that is."
"That's different! I don't want to fight Katsuki the way I fight villains! It's two completely different things!"

Mom sighed and looked at me "You and I both know you never intended on winning the sports festival, Katsuki probably knew that to but still gave it his all while you pushed yourself out of bounds with that fancy move of yours"

"...accidentally" I mutter.
"Sure" Mom said with a small smile

Apologizing to Katsuki won't do any good. If anything it'll make him even more p*ssed at me.
So now I have one of two options,
1.find a way to get Katsuki to talk to me.
2.get better friends.

For now I'll stick with option one. Making new friends is annoying.

I walk into class and sit in my seat. Katsuki ignores my presence while a few others great me. Everyone gets in their seats while we wait for Aizawa to show up.

"Alright, first off I'm going to congratulate you all on your performance at the sports festival. There are many things you could improve on but you all did well." Aizawa says giving us a small nod of approval.

Most of the class claps in a small celebration. But then Aizawa continues
"Now that that's over time for the hard part...recommendations"

Momo raises her hand "Mr. Aizawa, will we all get a recommendation?"
"Yes, no matter your performance in the sports festival you will get at least one recommendation"

He holds up a remote and turns on the projector. Names with numbers next to them pop up.

"...HOW'D MIDORIYA GET ONE?!?!" The class yells staring in shock at my single request

"Because they're scared of me" I shrug not that surprise.
"Scared of you?" Kaminari asks
"We'll yeah, I'm considered the savior of Japan. A low rank hero would be crazy to try and teach me"
"Then who do you think requested you?" Sero questions
"Beats me"

Aizawa shakes his head at me then pulls out a stack of papers "these are the names of the hero's that requested you, look through all of them carefully and then right down the top three you accept"

I grab my one sheet of paper and look at the single name written on it.
Hero: Gran Torino

Agency: unavailable
Description: unavailable
Reason for requesting you: reckless brat needs a lesson

...alright then, not suspicious at all. I stare at the paper a bit longer and notice some writing one the bottom corner

'Meet me in the teachers lounge after class' -All might

Now that's interesting, ever since learning that all might worked at UA I've never actually seen or talk to him besides the awards ceremony. However, according to Katsuki a few days before I was accepted into UA the class had a hero lesson with him.

Why would he want to talk to me? I've never heard of Gran Torino, witch annoys me cause I know almost ever hero there is in all 7 continents. (I was alone for years what else was I supposed to do) And never have I seen anything about a Gran Torino.

Does All Might know him?

Ha! If All might knew him then everyone else would to. Being someone like All Might (the freaking symbol of peace) it's hard for people to not know everything about you.
And I doubt All Might can keep a secret in all honesty.

Seeing as I have no other requests I'll have to take on Gran Torino and hope he's not a villian in disguise or something.

I peer over Katsuki's shoulder and look at the top of his paper.

I don't bother reading the rest. I'm shocked that Katsuki was able to catch the attention of the number 3 pro hero.

"What're you looking at" Katsuki says still looking at his paper
"Oh nothing, just wonder who requested the great Bakugou Katsuki is all" I say.

He turns around and glares at me.

"Oh really? Well I want to know the one person who requested the great Deku"
"Confidential" I say
"What?"
"It's confidential, or also known as none of your business"
"Oh yeah? Well-"

*RING*

"Gotta go, places to be people to see" I yell running out the door

...I don't know where the teachers lounge is.

I sigh and walk back to class.
"Midoriya? Didn't you just run out the door." Aizawa asks.
"Yeah so, I have very important business and need you to tell me where the teacher lounge is"
"No"
"Yes"
"What's this very important business of yours?"

"That would be with me"

We both look towards the door and see All Might.

"Sorry Young Midoriya, I forgot you probably wouldn't know where the teachers lounge was"
"Yep, what'd you wanna talk about"

He looks at Aizawa sheepishly
"I don't care what you guys do" he says

"Follow me Young Midoriya"

We walk for a bit then he opens the door to the teachers lounge.
He holds the door as I walk in.

Like in one of those cringy movies, there's a guy standing in the middle of the room with his back turned to us

"I got him" All Might says

The guy in the room turns around
"You must be Midoriya! Nice to meet you, I'm Miro Togata"

Why do I have a feeling this is gonna blow up in my face

I'm trying to keep something's in the story the same as in the anime. And I also had no idea who Midoriya would intern under besides Endeavor but that's for later. Anyway hope your enjoying the story!
