The one and only: Deku

Chapter 34

Midoriya 

"How does a round two sound Deku?"
"Not gonna lie it sounds kind of sh*tty if you ask me, I think we should stop here and continue where we left off in a few years" I say 
The villian ignores me "I've be playing around but those last few hits pissed me off Deku"
"This whole fight's been pissing me off"
"I think i'm done playing around Deku" 
"I think I hit you too hard" 

He scowls then charges toward me faster than before. I lift myself and Kota up before he can hit us. 

"Sh*t he's faster now" I mumble. 

I glace to the camp. I could make a run for it with Kota now that we're out of his reach, Aizawa is there and he could cancel this guys so I can actually hit him. 

D*mn it! No I can't do that! This b*stard has been talking about a 'list' since I got here, other people must be on it. If I lead him to Aizawa he might see someone else that the villain's want. 

I feel tears in my eyes from my overwhelming frustration. The only way I can see myself beating this guy is if I was f*cking Mirio with One For All and just smack the daylights out of him.

"Oh so you wanna play cowardly huh Deku? I thought you were braver than that. I thought you were Japans Savoir!" The villian laughs from bellow. He then powers up his quirk again then jump up to me and Kota. I quickly drop Kota out of the way then take on the hit. 

I crash into the ground and feel the wind get knocked out of me 

"Stop it Midoriya! Let's just get out of here! Clearly nothing you're doing is working" Kota cries 
I flip him off while trying to breath again. I don't give a sh*t if he's a kid, he's the main reason I'm in this mess. 

I stand back up and put myself in front of Kota so the villian can't see him.
I need a plan and I need it now.

Sparks fly around my body as i lift the villian off the ground and raise him as high as I can into the air, forget dropping boulders I'm dropping him now. I release him and watch as he falls, I hear him laugh as he lands breaking the ground. He grins at me without a scratch on him. 

He starts running towards me.

"Kota you better run this time or I swear I'll throw you out of here myself" I yell. 

I hate this guys quirk, it's like All Might's but you actually see what his muscles look like and it's creepy. He runs towards me and with my telekinesis I push him back. He continues to fight against my telekinesis to try and get closer to me. My head is pounding so hard I can barely hear myself think. After years of strengthening my quirks and building up a tolerance to my drawbacks I've now reached my limit, this is as far as my quirks can go. 

My throat burns as I blast balls of fire toward the villian while I hold him back with my telekinesis. I aim for his arms where his muscles are on full display, maybe he's like the nomu from the USJ where if I just hold out long enough he'll pass out or something. 

After a minute the burning in my throat becomes so unbearable that I have to stop my attacks. Black smoke starts coming out of my nose and the corners of my mouth. 

The villain takes this moment to break my telekinesis hold on him and push me to the ground. 
I eventually stop trying to avoid his attacks and just take it. 

I can't do this anymore 
You know they say you're life can flash before your eyes at your last moments? 

I've never seen anything so beautiful.
I took my life for granted, I took the people in my life for granted
I thought I could do this, I thought I was practically unstoppable.

You know, I really did believe that I could help the people in this world
I believed I could one day live up to the tittle of 'Japan's Savior'

Mom, I'm sorry

Kota 

Wait, why isn't Midoriya moving anymore? 

NO! 

I activate my quirk and hit the villian with water.

"Stop it! Leave him alone!" I scream 
"Wait Kid! Just a little longer alright! I'll kill you once I'm done with him!" The villian laughs 

The ground starts shaking and the villian starts being lifted of the ground. 
"D*mn I got distracted for a second" The villian says 

"As if I'd ever let you touch him after the hell you've put me through" A scratchy voice says 
"What the- How are you stronger now!" The villian yells and he gets lifted off Midoriya. 

Midoriya immerges out of the ruble around him and slowly stands, there are huge green sparks surrounding him that make it look like he's glowing.  

"You were right, a round two was just what I needed to finish off your a**" Midoriya gasps. 

In a flash the villian is sent flying into the cave walls, from the impact everything around him falls on top of him. 

'Kota, it's true that while saving people your parents ended up leaving you behind. I know you don't get it now, but someday you'll meet someone who will help you understand. Someone who will risk their life to save yours, someone who will be-'

I haven't written in what feels like forever! I'm finally on spring break though and I don't have to worry about school so for the rest of the week I'll try to update more. I would have made this chapter longer but I felt this was a good place to stop. 

I'm still trying to decide if I want Bakugou to be a target for the villain's, in the manga/anime he is because they recognize his behavior to not exactly be 'hero-like' but then again in this story neither is Midoriyas. I'll think more on it but stay tuned for more chapters!
