Chapter 29

Deku Pov: 

The exams are finally over and the only 4 people failed them. Denki, Mina, Sato, and Kirishima are the only ones who failed the practical exam resulting in them not being able to go to the training camp. 

The four are devastated and Mina's currently crying. "Calm down you guys, knowing Aizawa there's gonna be a twist to this and you'll end up going" I say. "Don't get their hopes up Midoriya" Sero says shaking his head. 

"The rules were you don't go to training camp if your don't pass and we failed our practical's so we're screwed!" Denki yells sharply turning around to attack aiming for my eyes. I smack his hand away before he can hit me.
"Not to mention that we were given a second chance and ended up failing that to" Kirishima added glumly

I look at him confused "A second chance?" I ask
"You didn't know? Aizawa said that if we were able to stop you from winning your exam then we'd get credit towards our practical exam"  Kirishima says.
"But then you just had to blow up everything didn't you Midoriya!" Denki yells
"Oh well" I shrug  

"Ease up Denki it's not Midoriyas fault if he didn't know, he's goal was the same as yours. I don't know if I'll get to go either cause it was Mineta who did all the work in our exam" Sero says.
I pat him on the shoulder "There, there" And walk to my desk. 

The door slams open "The bell rang all of you should be seated" Aizawa says walking in.   

He heads over to his podium in front of the class. "As you may know some of the class failed their practical exam so when it comes down to the training camp in the woods, everyone is going!" Aizawa says with that creepy grin of his 

Last minute twist

"We can really go?" Kirishima asks excitedly
"Seriously?" Mina asks with happy tears.
"Good news is that no one failed the written exam five failed the practical unfortunately, Team Chargebolt and Pinky, Team Red Riot and Sugarman, and Cellophane"  

"Man I knew it" Sero groans in his seat. 

"The point of the practical was for us to observe your skills and how you worked as a team besides the camp will go over working on your strength and quirks and those who failed will need those lessons the most. We were never gonna separate you" Aizawa explains then grins "That was just a logical deception" 

Iida shoots up from his seat his hand up high "Mr. Aizawa this is the second time you've fooled us aren't you worried we'll lose our trust in you?" He asks 

"I'll take that into consideration. But failure is failure and for the five of you training camp is going to be hell with extra lessons far harder than summer school" Aizawa says too the five. Their moods change in an instant. 

"That's all for today" He says walking out as the bell rings. 

"It's nice that we all get to go" Ojiro says 
"It looks like we're gonna be there for a whole week" Iida says reading the information packet. 

"Guys, since we have tomorrow off and we don't have any more exams I say we all go to the mall together!" Hagakure says excitedly 
"Yeah! We've never hung out as a class before!" Denki says 
"See you there Bakugou" Kirishima says as he walks off 
"Hell no" Katsuki says walking out the door. I turn to Kirishima "He's going" I say. "Your the man" He says grinning

"Bye mom I'm going out!" I yell about to walk out the door.
"Izuku wait!" She shouts coming down the stairs  "Remember be home by-" She stops and looks me up and down. "Where are you going?" She asks after realizing I'm in casual clothes and not my vigilante outfit.
"Hagakure came up with the idea of going to the mall as a class because we have today off and we need stuff for camp" I explain
"Who's Hagakure?" She asks curiously with a smile.
 "Oh my god it's nothing like that. She's one of my classmates, I don't even know what she look's like cause of her quirk!" I groan.
"Well, if you say so. Have fun" She says.
"Kay, I'll be back by 8 cause Katsuki is gonna drag me to the arcade after" I say closing the door.
