The one and only: Deku

Chapter 22

Deku Pov:

"So this is what you were working on last night?" The old man asks, staring at me as I show him the green sparks
"Yep, my mom can create sparks too when she's really concentrating but they're nothing like this" I say
"Probably because your quirk is stronger than hers, can the sparks do anything?"
"Not that I know of, they're just there signaling that I'm really concentrated on my telekinesis" I shrug

He nods thinking then looks at me
"Fight me again doing that" he says gesturing to the sparks
"Prepare to get your a** kicked old man" I say

The fight starts like it did last time, accept now I'm ready for his attacks and are able to dodge them.

I try using my telekinesis and stop the Old Man but he's too quick for me to be to get a good grasp of him with it.

This continues for a bit, him jumping around and attacking and me standing in the same spot dodging.

'This is taking too long' I think

I need to find an opening to be able to get a good hit on him. I see out of the corner of my eye the couch and make a run toward it and dive under it.

The old man sees this and jumps to it but just as he does I use my telekinesis to push the couch upward and hit him full force into the celling.

"Gah! Alright you got me, now put me down!" He yells, stuck between the couch and celling

I set him and the couch down lightly and get up  from the floor

"Who treats an old man like that" Torino says shaking his head
I shake my head smiling a bit.

Im actually improving by staying with this guy.

"Whelp it's settled, we're going out tonight" Torino says
"Out?" I ask
"That's what i said out, and wear your new costume not the vigilante one"
"Why?"
"Because, we don't need the attention. No one's seen you wear it. Thus no one will know who you are"

I agree with him and walk off to my room.

I grab the costume made by the support course and a pair of scissors.
I made my own costume from scratch so I have a vague idea on what I'm doing.

I take the scissors and cut off the sleeves of the costume, then I take the white gloves and cut them as well so they just are worn on my hands and not my whole f*cking arm. I hold up to costume and look it over, the color isn't bad I guess. It'll make me stand out more then my vigilante costume that's for sure.

The only thing that's bothering me is the stupid bunny ears. I like the idea of a hood however, if I cut the ears off there will be holes and I don't have my sewing stuff to fix it.

I shake my head and set it aside, I'll leave it as it is for now. I look over the other pieces of the costume.
The mask is alright, it's metal but it isn't a gas mask like my vigilante mask. I take it and put it over my head but don't put it directly on my face.
I notice that it has holes in it.

I wonder if I could breath fire through it?

I put it over my face and blow out a small stream of fire. The fire flows through the mask and out of the hole. I grin widely

The support course actually made something of use for me!

In the end i cut a few things here and there and changed the costume to my liking.

Now picture this, a teal-ish green tank top with black stripes and a hood with weird bunny like things, a matching pair of pants with a red belt, white gloves, metal mask, red shoes, and black knee pad things. That's my new costume.
