After 7 long years of grueling travel, Echo is finally returning to the place he used to call home. He looked at the city that lay in front of him, Piltover, the wind blowing through his beard and long blonde hair. As the airship landed, the crowd he disembarked with grew smaller and smaller the closer they came to The Lanes. As they boarded the lift that goes down to The Lanes, Echo decided to take the fast route.

When he landed, he looked around to insure himself that he was safe. When he knew that he was safe he made his way towards The Last Drop, covering his face so no one had the chance to recognize him.

(That's Echo.)

When his old home was still a good distance away he saw drunks being tossed out by bouncers.

"Well there goes that option." He muttered under his breath.

He looked up and saw a building with what looked like rooms, he entered the building and was greeted by a man behind the counter.

"Welcome to Old Lanes Apartments. You looking to rent?" The man said as Echo approached.

"Yeah. Give me the highest floor, here's the first year's payment up front." Echo said, placing a large bag of coins on the counter.

The man, astonished, gave him his keys to his room. And this, dear reader, is where we come back to the present.

Looking down at The Last Drop, Echo thinks of a plan to get inside. He knows about the other entrances but he also knows that they either have them blocked or guarded, so those won't work.

"What about the roof? No, there's no way to get in from it." He says to himself, shaking his head.

"I'd surely be killed if I even tried brute force through the front door." He muttered to himself, stopping his pacing to shiver at that thought.

He goes to lay on his bed in defeat but notices his door is wide open.

"Oh shit." He mutters, reaching for his knife.

He looks through every room until he gets to his room, he slowly opens the door and quietly walks in. He looks everywhere, even the drawers, and gives a sigh of relief.

"I guess I must've not shut it." He says, shrugging his shoulders, before walking back to the door.

After he closed and locked the door, he goes back to his room and repeats the same process on that door before laying on the bed to sleep.
