My Enemy? (O/C x Jinx)

Chapter 5

As Echo walked along the streets with his black bandanna up, people staring at him as he made his way to Jericho's.

"Jericho my old pal, I'll take the usual." He said taking a seat next to a girl with dark pink hair just inhaling what she was eating.

As Jericho sat his usual in front of him, he looked up at Jericho and asked "How do you know if someone's in love with you or vice versa?"

Of course Echo couldn't understand what Jericho said but he just nodded in agreement.

"I just think that Jinx is that way with me, you know." Echo said hearing the girl next to him stop eating and then feeling something poking his back.

"You're going to tell us everything you know about Jinx." The one holding something at his back said.

He pulled down his bandanna and spun around on the barstool to look at her.

"Miss, I don't know much. All I know is she's got my shirt, explaining my current situation." He said, motioning to his body.

Just then he felt a hug next to him.

"What the-" He started but stopped himself when he got a better look at the girl "Vi?"

"You look good for someone who's dead." Vi said after breaking her hug.

"I'd say the same for you." He said, the look of surprise still on his face.

"Where's Powder?" She quickly asked, changing the subject.

"You see that's the thing, I barely remember anything from last night with the pain that was in my leg. See, I crashed through a roof and she saved me." He said laughing, once again, at his dumb decision from the day before noticing her 'Vi' tattoo.

"Cupcake here got me an early release from Stillwater." She said pointing towards 'Cupcake'

"My names not 'Cupcake,' it is Caitlyn Kirammam." Caitlyn said with an outstretched hand for a handshake.

"I thank you for getting Vi out but I don't shake hands with folks from Piltover, especially a councilor's daughter." Echo scowled at her.

She slowly brought her arm back towards her before he got the chance to rip it off and backed up behind Vi.

"Why are you working with her?" Echo says with a hint of disgust, now turning his attention towards Vi.

"That was the condition of the release, help her find her way down here." Vi said, looking into his spiteful eyes.

"Good luck." He says before placing coins on the counter and leaving.

Vi grabbed his arm before he got by Caitlyn.

"Get a shirt on and while you're at it and just join us. I know we got a lot to catch up on." Vi said before letting Echo's arm go.

"Fine." He sighed before walking up to a guy, "Hey man, mind if I get that shirt?" He asked the guy. Before the guy answered, Echo knocked him out and took his shirt and grimaced at it "Smells like shit."

As he walked back over to Caitlyn and Vi, he noticed Caitlyn had a shocked look on her face and Vi was trying to hold back a laugh.

"Let's go." Echo said following behind them, his black bandanna back over the bottom half of his face.

"What happened to you that night?" Vi asked him as the turned down an alleyway.

"Silco, literally, stabbed me in the back when I was about to run in and intervene before you walked off. Ekko saved my life though, apparently he knew someone that owed him a huge favor." Echo responded, his eyes looking down.
