Echo was going through his stuff trying to find something that would help them figure out what exactly is going on when he finds another familiar picture of him and a red haired female kissing.
"Oh man, I'm starting to think I have a have a thing for red and blue haired women." He laughed at himself as he put the picture to the side making a mental note to hide it later so he doesn't get killed, he likes living.
"Whatcha doing there?" Jinx asked making Echo jump in response.
"Fuck, Jinx. You trying to kill me?" Echo said once his heart rate and breathing steadied.
"You've been in here for hours and I was getting both bored and curious." She said beginning to rock on her heels.
"Just knock or let me know before doing that again next time, alright?" He said as he looked into her purple eyes with his own.
"Fine." She says pouting as she walks out.
"Oh and to answer your question, I'm looking through some old stuff trying to find something." He says as she walks out.
Echo continues digging and digging until he finds what he's something he brought back, a one of a kind pistol he brought back from Noxus. He sighs as he stands up and looks at the other piles he'd have to dig through. He walks over to another pile and pulls out a jacket before going digging through the pockets. He pulls out a folded note and proceeds to unfold it revealing the name Ashe.
"I didn't really want to freeze my ass off again, but if she can help then I guess it's worth it." Echo said as he grabbed the coat and walked out.
Jinx was sitting on the couch with her feet in the air and noticed him walk out and towards her.
"I've got to go back to the Freljord and see an old friend who could know about what's happening with me." Echo said which caused Jinx to frown. "I'd rather not risk anything happening to you again, you and Vi are all I have left."
Jinx went to protest the decision but Echo placed a finger over her lips before she could say anything and pulled her into a hug. She knew he'd come back, maybe changed, but he'd come back.
He walked out of the cave with a suitcase of clothes. Jinx was standing at the entrance with her arms crossed and with a pissed off look on her face watching him walk off towards Piltover.
Just before he boarded an airship Vi came running towards him causing him to stop and have a look of confusion.
"Before you ask, I told her where I was going." Echo said before she could speak as she was catching her breath.
"There's two old friends looking for you." Vi says making Echo's eyes widen.
"One with white hair?" Echo asks stopping himself at the foot of the boarding ramp.
"Yeah and one with red hair, a scar and a tattoo on her hip." Vi says with her hands on her hips. "How many women did you get with?"
"Too many, those two are good friends though." Echo said with a laugh and rubbing the back of his neck.
"Uh-huh." Vi says slowly as a smile forms.
"You could've told me this before I bought my ticket, you know." He said sighing as he walked over to Vi.
"Now where's the fun in that?" She asked as she playfully punched his arm.
"You got a point, I would've done it to you too." He says with a laugh and seeing Vi grin.
"Come on, they're waiting for you." She said motioning for him to follow her.
"Fine." He said picking up the suitcase and walking alongside her.
"So, what trouble were you heading into?" Vi asked as they walked.
"Find some answers to a new question that happened yesterday." He said as he shrugged his shoulders. "It's a lot, believe me."
Vi had a look of confusion on her face when she looked at him especially with the last sentence. Echo kept looking forward knowing she was looking at him like he was hiding something serious, which in a way he was.
"Here we are. Your white haired friend is in the lobby while the red head is kinda locked up." Vi said making Echo snap his eyes at her.
"What'd she do?" Echo asked catching Vi's interest.
"Killed a citizen that stopped her on the street and tried to disappear in Zaun." She said before sighing "She was watching you at Vander's statue."
"Oh, so that explains what the loud explosion I heard in the distance was." He said with his hand under his chin. "Well, let's not keep them waiting."
Echo pushes down on the golden handle before pulling the door towards him to open it and walks in, holding the door for Vi as she sarcastically takes a bow.
As Echo walks in he scans the room looking for Ashe. He looks at each person before landing on the familiar white hair and begin walking over towards her. He sits down beside her as she reading some magazine he didn't care about.
"Excuse me, miss, could I ask why you're here?" Echo asks getting her attention.
As Ashe looks up her from the magazine, her blue irises meeting his pink.
"What's up, Ashe?" Echo asked her as she was still processing that it was actually him.
"Echo? What happened here?" Ashe asks as she points to his eyes.
"Long story I'd rather not repeat." He said looking down. "Look, I need your help figuring something out."
"What is it?" She asks as he lifts his head up.
"I... I've seen a different, I don't know, timeline or something and it's got me freaking out." He says as he looks at her.
Ashe sits in thought for a moment before speaking "It could be an effect of whatever did that to your eyes or you could have an ability no one's ever recorded."
"Thanks Ashe, see you around?" Echo asks as he stands up.
"Maybe, some people around here are weird." She says before he walks away with a smile hidden from sight.
Echo walks up to Vi as she leans against the wall looking at her fists.
"Problem solvers, tell me about it." Echo says with a laugh as he walks up.
"You ready to talk to your other lover now?" Vi asks after a short chuckle.
"I told you already, that was in the past." He said as Vi motions to a guard to unlock the door.
"Not the way she's been talking about you." She says as they walk through the door.
"Shit, I hope we don't have another Kaylin situation on our hands." He says as they walk through corridor after corridor with the occasional stare directed at Echo.
"You and me both, little brother." She says as stop in front of another door. "She's in there waiting, we'll release her after you leave."
"Still pulling favors for me, eh?" He says reaching for the knob.
"Shut up, Romeo." She says causing both of them to laugh.
Echo opens the door and walks into the room, the woman sitting at the table looks up and widens her eyes at the figure standing in front of her.
"Echo?"
