A few days go by while Jinx catches him up and everything he's missed for the week he was in that deathlike state.
"I'm tired of sitting on my ass doing nothing while those chem barons ruin everything I've fixed." Echo says as he looks at his fists.
"Just take it easy, we'll figure out a plan together." Jinx says as she leans against him.
"Taking it easy isn't something I can do." He says as he puts an arm around her.
"You always learn, whether it's the easy way or the hard way." She says before slightly laughing.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's usually the hard way." He says before cracking a smile at her.
"And you're still going to do it anyways." She sighs standing up.
"You know me all too well, Bluejay." He says standing up and walking towards the steps.
"You're going now?" She asks confused walking towards him.
"Yeah, sooner I get it over with the sooner I can get this place back to how I had it." He says before a hand grabs him.
"I'm coming with you then." She says before letting his arm go.
"I don't mind the company." He says, leaving her with a bewildered look as he starts up the stairs again.
At the entrance he takes a deep breath of the air around him it probably wasn't the best idea to breathe in the toxic air, but Echo didn't care because he was back home. Jinx follows up behind him as he turns back around.
"Who's the poor bastard I'm killing?" Echo asks as Jinx pulls out a piece of paper.
"Some guy named Ray." Jinx says she looks up at him and asks "Who's Ray?"
"Guy who thinks he runs The Last Drop now, I'm going elaborate to everyone that he doesn't." He says as he cracks his knuckles and begins walking.
In front of The Last Drop Echo sees two of the bouncers, he rolls his eyes as they try and stop him. The one of his left throws a punch, Echo catches it and throws him into the bouncer on his right. Inside every sees him and backs away as he makes his way up to his office, he opens the door and the man named Ray turns as white as a ghost when he sees Echo.
"Look man, everyone said you were dead." Ray said trembling.
"And now they're going to know I'm not. I'm sorry old friend." Echo said walking towards him. "Go out with some dignity."
Ray stood up and was about to say something when he quickly saw Echo and then his own body.
"Like I said, I'm sorry old friend." Echo said as he carried the head with him.
As he walks down the stairs Jinx was sitting at the bar and spun around to see Echo holding Ray's head next to his side, causing her to drop the drink she was holding.
"Sheesh I'm crazy, but not that crazy." Jinx says walking towards him.
"He... was an old friend. The one habit he didn't change was cowering when threatened." Echo says with a hint of sadness as he looked at the head before walking out the doors.
"Oh, well I'm sorry it had to be you then." She says following him.
Echo walked a good distance in The Lanes before he placed the head on top of a pillar with a sign that read "The Hound is back."
Walking back into his office and cleaning out all the useless Junk Ray had left behind Echo propped his feet up on the desk before taking a deep sigh.
"What's troubling you?" Jinx asked sitting on the desk in front of him.
