Sara moved through the think bushes. She had a feeling that she would be pulling ticks off her tonight. If she lived that long anyway. There was not a cloud in the sky, so the moon lit up the forest enouph for her to see. Sara jumped backwords as she bumped into a tiny spider web. The tiny little spider crawled across the web towerds the corner to hide. "Sorry little guy." She ducked under the web. Fern would be freaking out right now. Sara thought to herself as the memory of the time her and Fern went to that summer camp a few years ago.
"I won!" Sara screamed as she made it to the other side of the pond. "No fair! You have the light boat!" Fern caused.
"Or im just faster then you." Sara told her. "Let's race on foot!" She said once they got out of the boats and onto land again. Fern liked that idea. "Three, two one, go!" The second Sara said go, they both took off. Fern was way faster on foot. Within seconds she was way in front of Sara. Just as Sara was starting to think Fern was winning, She stopped almost instantly, shacking her arms around violently.
"Whats wrong?" Sara asked once she caught up with Fern.
"I ran into a stupid spider web!" Fern screamed.
"That's it? A bug?"
"It was huge!" Fern defended herself.
"It was a bug." Sara teased.
Sara missed those times. Hopefully, if her plan worked, she would be able to have fun like that again soon. Sara continued into the forest. I have to figure this out. She thought to herself. "Is there anyone here?" She stopped to listen for a reply. When no one answered, she continued moving. She finally made it to the dead end. "Here gose nothing." She said to herself as she pushed into the forest farther, going off trail. The bushes were tall and hard to move thew, but after a bit, it got easier. There was not much bushes now, just trees and a few plants. After about 30 feet it got thick again. Thorn covered vines and sticks and wet branches rubbed aginst Sara until she came to a clearing. A big boulder about the size of a tiny car lay in the center. She hopped on top of the rock and stood up. "Hello?" She asked. No one answered. "Hello?" She repeated. This time, she caught movement in the corner of her eye. Instantly she took off in the direction she saw the movement. I got you this time! She said in her head. Suddenly she saw the person she had been chasing. She slammed her feet to the ground to stop herself, only to realize the ground wasn't there. Looking down all she could see was the fifty foot cliff. She gasped in horror as she fell, feeling that adrenaline rush feeling you get when you ride a rollercoster. The fall only lasted a few second though. The only thing Sara could do was scream before coliding with the ground.
