🌸Faith (P.O.V)🌸
The entire room was silent after Marie Ann Moretti shared the relationship she shares with the Owens.
"What!?" Lisa exclaimed, breaking the silence. "Mom, what is she saying!? What is she talking about!? What does she mean by all of that!?"
"Lisa, calm down," Johnathon said.
"I can't calm down! My dad had a child with another woman all this time, and they didn't tell us till now! And that too like this!? What the hell!? I know you guys like to hide things and keep secrets, but this!? This is not right! You guys had no right to hide such a big thing from us!"
"We... Lisa, you have to understand sweetie." Mrs. Owens said. "We didn't mean for all of this to happen."
"You didn't mean for all of this to happen!? Seriously Mom!? How can you justify all of this with that!? Dad had a child with someone else. A child that we never had a clue about. And that same child wants to avenge Evan for something he doesn't know about!"
"My son is not doing anything to anyone." Marie Ann Moretti said. "I don't know why you people are trying to make him look like the bad person, but he didn't do anything to anyone. Dianne, we had a deal. Did you forget about it already?"
"No...No, I still remember everything." Mrs. Owens said.
"I hope you know that this breaks the deal between us. If anything happens to my son or any of you take any action against him, then I will forget this deal. You are well aware of the consequences of breaking this deal."
"A deal?" Mr. Owens said. "What deal are we talking about here?"
Marie Ann Moretti and Mrs. Owens silently looked at each other.
"Hello!?" Mr. Owens exclaimed, snapping his fingers in front of Mrs. Owens. "What's going on here!? Dianne, would you care to enlighten me!? You made a deal with this woman and didn't tell me anything!?"
"Dave, it was years ago." Mrs. Owens said. "And it had nothing to do with you. This was between Marie Ann and me."
"Damn right, it's only between you two! Sh*t, this has everything to do with me, Dianne! You listen to me; we are a team! You cannot be doing deals with this woman behind my back! How can you even do that and hide it from me!? You don't seem to stop disappointing me! You're out here making deals with people without talking to me!? What happened to being a team, you traitor!?"
