Landon immediately tilted his head back and slammed it into the top left side of Evan's head.

Evan lost his grip on Landon and touched his head.

My eyes widened when I saw that Evan was bleeding at the place where Landon had hurt him.

"Evan, are you—"

"Oh my god, Evan—"

Brittany and I both stopped simultaneously, looking at each other.

Evan winced in pain, holding his head

I removed a napkin from my bag and placed it over where he had been hurt.

"Evan, are you okay?" Brittany asked in concern.

I looked at her, holding the napkin over his head to stop the blood.

"Let me see," Brittany said, reaching for Evan's head.

Evan took a step back before she could touch him and kept the napkin on his head, giving her an annoyed look.

Brittany continued to look at him with concern.

"Let me go!" Landon exclaimed.

I turned around and saw that Jake got him before he got away.

"Where do you think you're going?" Jake asked, not letting him go. "I think you got some answers we have all been searching for."

"I don't have anything to say, so let me go!" Landon said.

Rashida got a chair from a nearby table and put it in the middle.

Jake forcefully placed Landon there, tying his hands behind the chair with a scarf Rashida took out of her bag.

Evan headed towards Landon.

"Evan, be careful—"

"Don't touch me," he interrupted before Brittany could finish.

I rolled my eyes at her fake concern.

She helplessly took a step back.

"You're not going anywhere until you start talking," Evan said.

"You guys cannot do that to him," Max said. "How dare you guys attack Landon like that? What do we even know about what Evan says to attack him like that? Do you dumb people believe this? This is Landon we are talking about. Some of us have known him since our freshman year of high school. We all know Landon is not capable of doing this."

"Then why did he try to run away?" Mary asked. "The rest of us didn't run away."

"He has got to be hiding something to run away," Mason said. "If he didn't do anything, he has no reason to run away."
