Author's Note: Hello, guys! I usually write long chapters for my book, but I have been wondering how you all feel about that. Some people enjoy the long chapters, while others may find them very boring. That's why I wanted to know if you'd prefer my chapters to be longer or shorter, so you can finish them quickly and enjoy them more. Please let me know what you guys feel in the comments, and that's what I'll do. Thank you!

There's no possible way that this damn cartoon can kill Ray.

I mean, come on, what can he possibly do?

He doesn't have what it takes to be a killer, as he is weak, and I'm sure he couldn't have killed Ray.

There's a lot of mystery revolving around the night Ray died.

There's always new evidence whenever things seem to be getting simple.

I could have handled the situation that night without acting so irrationally.

"That...That night, we did meet Ray," the four eyes said, adjusting his glasses. "We...We were on a date at the restaurant that night and ran into Ray at the bar. He was distraught and drinking nonstop. I went up to him to talk to him."

"Talk to him about what?" Hogan asked.

"I...I was very upset at him for stalking Faith's life...I—I went up to him to tell him to stop what he's doing and to leave Faith alone."

"What was he doing to Faith?"

"He...He was stalking her, and that day, he had been exposed in front of everyone. I thought he would listen to me since we were old friends, but things didn't go as I had hoped. Ray got mad and punched me in the face. Even the restaurant manager knows about this."

Everyone looked over at the manager.

He nodded his head in agreement.

"I couldn't hold back as well," he continued. "I also started to fight back, and we kept going back and forth. Ray grew angrier with each punch, and things escalated very quickly. Before I knew it, I was getting beaten, and there was no way to stop him. Some people even tried to interfere to stop it, but nothing worked."

"Is this true?" Hogan asked the manager.

"Yes, he did start to get really out of control," the manager said.

"It seemed like he was angry and in pain," the four eyes said. "I didn't know how to stop him, and I was in a lot of pain myself, so I pushed him. I didn't realize how hard I pushed him until I saw that his head hit the wall."

"Ay, it was just too much that I got scared for my man," Liliana said. "I couldn't let him get in trouble, so I grabbed his hand and rushed him out of the restaurant. We ran and never looked back."

"That was the last of Ray that we saw."

Hogan cleared his throat, walking around the room.

"So all these days when I was asking if anyone was in any way involved in this kid's death or even had an encounter with him, why were you two hiding it?" he asked.

The boyfriend—girlfriend duo exchanged looks.

"Why didn't you two say anything!?" Hogan asked impatiently. "Answer my question!"

" I-I-I'm sorry," the four eyes said, adjusting his glasses. "We just freaked out and got scared. This is a murder case. We just thought that our lives would never remain the same if we said anything and got in a big mess."

"Yes, lo siento," Liliana said. "We just panicked. That's all. We didn't want to get trapped for killing someone."

"You guys are criminals," Hogan said. "Even if it's not the cause of his death, he did incur a head injury. Every single one of you is a suspect in my eyes, and I know you are all connected to this case in one way or another. This is the last opportunity I'm giving you all to tell me anything you know."
