Chapter 23

AN UNEXPECTED EVENT

Third Person's POV
      BamBam was driving in a speed with Pranpriya guiding him.

They will go to the penthouse that Pranpriya owns.

They arrived at the hotel in a flash, then they immediately entered an elevator.

They were frantic inside the elevator with a thought on why is the elevator slower than the usual.

They arrived at 85th floor of the building.

Pranpriya and BamBam hurried inside the penthouse and they saw a lady.

Pranpriya's aunt.

"Auntie, what happened?" Priya asked as she tends to the lady.

"I was about to check on her again, so that I could inject a dose of her medicine when I didn't saw her in the bed. I looked for her all over the penthouse, but I wasn't able to find her, instead I found a note. Here." Aunt Paige stated while handing a piece of paper to Pranpriya.

Pranpriya read the note and she dropped it as soon as she finished reading it.

BamBam picked up the note as sadness enveloped him when he finished it.

He was hoping to see the four of them to be complete again.

"Aces of Spades" in one frame.

That sounds good.

That became his hope to find Lisa.

He needs to find Lisa, so that they would be complete again.

"I will look for her, no matter what. I'll bring her back here. Her condition can't get any worse. She's not in a good state right now. Our enemies can take advantage of her condition. She's weak right now. Why did you do this L? Why did you suddenly leave?" Priya said with a panic tone while she was pacing back and forth on the living room.

Her Auntie gave her a nod while BamBam was watching the scene unfold with confusion.

"What do you mean, Priya? Why do you need to inject her a dose of medicine?" BamBam asked when Pranpriya calmed down.

That question made Pranpriya freezed on her spot, but she managed to calm herself and let out a sigh before informing BamBam.

He deserves to know.

BamBam deserves to know what is L's current condition.

"She has a weak heart, Bam. That's why she doesn't let her emotion devour her. She's good in controlling her emotions, Bam and we know that. That's the reason why I always check on her after parting ways. She can't lose her calmness that easily. She collapsed when the fight happened. She was stressed and her emotions completely got in her way because she doesn't get enough rest this past few days." Priya explained as BamBam absorbed the informations.

"She has a weak heart? Why did I not notice that?" BamBam replied with frustration evident on his voice.

He was frustrated because he wasn't able to protect Lisa.

"Yes, she does. I just found it out when she talked to me about her condition before we parted." Pranpriya explained while looking at a portrait of her and Lisa.

"That's why. That's the reason why she rather be emotionless than show her real emotions. What else?" BamBam asked with concern.

"Her condition worsened when we separated. She was stress on her trainings that's why she requested that she wants to train alone. She doesn't want anyone to see her weak." Pranpriya explained while looking at BamBam eye to eye.
