TRIGGER WARNINGS: Panic attack, anxiety

Idol life is stressful for anyone, there's so much pressure on you at all times, an expectation to be perfect in every aspect of life. Fans expect so much and the companies expect even more!

People find their own ways of coping with the insanity of idol life, whether it be through distractions, focusing on their work, remaining positive, or just simply surviving.

Leehan loved making music. He loved every aspect of getting to sing and dance, performing for people all around the world, but that didn't mean he loved every aspect of it.

Leehan liked to live simply. He wanted to live happily with his members and take care of his fish. He wasn't a fan of how scary the airports were when they traveled. He felt nervous being out by himself, worried someone could potentially harm him. It didn't help that he had severe anxiety either, which only got worse since he debuted. Still, he had never had a panic attack in front of the others, he didn't want to show them that part of him. He didn't want to be treated like someone fragile, someone who needed constant supervision to ensure he wouldn't have a meltdown. He wanted to be normal.

Unfortunately sometimes things are too much for our brains to handle. No matter how prepared you think you are, anxiety can take over at any time for any reason.

Boynextdoor were still pretty new in the k-pop world and they were doing a surprise pop up event to gain some more followers. It was expected to be something small and casual, they didn't arrange any high security or safety precautions thinking the boys would be fine with a small crowd.

With only two managers accompanying them, the boys made their way to the venue, pulling into a very packed parking lot.

"There's so many cars here, is something else happening here today?" Woonhak asked curiously as the driver shut off the van.

"I don't think so, the pamphlet just says we would be here." Jaehyun said, re-reading the small printed words on the colorful flyer he was holding.

"It's probably just parking for up the street, there's a lot of bars and restaurants around here." Taesan informed.

The manager slid the door open to allow the boys to step out. As they began walking towards the small stage, their jaws dropped.

Just up ahead was an ocean of people, the entire corner of the street was jam packed with fans, some holding signs, others just bouncing in excitement.

"Yah...there's so many people here..." Sungho said his mouth agape.

"Hyung? They said it would be a small turnout...how did this happen?" Jaehyun asked their manager who looked equally as shocked as they did.

"I guess word got around, you guys already have a huge following!" their manager sounded excited, playfully punching jaehyun's shoulder.

The boys were giddy with excitement. The only time they've seen this many people was during their music bank performances.

"All of them are here for us?" Riwoo said with a huge smile on his face.

The others seemed thrilled, meanwhile leehan could feel his hands becoming clammy.
