Fun and games in the 501st

Hardcase's furby (Christmas addition)

"WAKE UP GUYS IT'S KRIFFING CHRISTMAS!"
Hardcase screamed and ran through the base at 6am, top speed.
He did this every Christmas morning besides being distinctly told to stop. So far they managed to negotiate two hours of extra sleep for everyone.
He ran into Rex and (y/n)'s bedroom and bounced on the bed like a child, the celebrations couldn't start without the captain and general.
Rex hid his head under the pillow, "Hardcase what the Kriff?! It's too early!"
"No it isn't you boring creep sheep grandfather get up!"
That was a new insult.
(y/n) was already very wide awake and started jumping on the bed to.
"COME ON REX YOU BORING BANTHA GET UP!" she grabbed Hardcases hand and ran down the hall into the mess.

All the seats had stockings on for each different clone. It was easier to dish them out here rather than each individual room. It was also abit of a secret santa because no clone actually knew who had packed each stocking.
Hardcase sprinted down aisles looking for his name (or some other stupid other nickname they decided to give him).

"Shelly. Merry christmas from the 501st :D"

"Where the nickname Shelly came from I'll never know." he sighed and poured the contents out onto the table.
He wasn't disappointed in slightest. Lots of chocolate and sweets to last him at least two days. TWO WHOLE DAYS- and a... Thing?
He picked up the weird bit of fabric.
"What's this?" it looked like a dolls 501st armour dress.
"It goes with your present this year." The Knight grinned.
Hardcase gave her a look, "You got me a doll?"
"Nope." she grinned.
"And be grateful because it wasn't cheap!" Jesse bonked him on the head and sat next to him to open his own stocking.
Expensive? Hardcase?! He was starting to get more nervous now. Was this a genuine gift or a guilt trip?
"Thanks?" he tilted his head a little confused.

For the next hour,Hardcase continued to be inpatient. Instead of sitting down and waiting for everyone else to open what they had he bounced around latching into every clone to see what they got. Nobody minded. They were used to his crazy antics by now.
"CAN WE PLEASE OPEN THE ACTUAL PRESENTS YET?!"
"YES!"
It was weird to hear over one hundred clones shout at one clone to low key shut up in perfect unison. He sprinted over to the tree to find his present and picks it up.
There were noises coming out of the Box.
"OO NAY TAY DO NOM NOM NOM WAAAAA!"
Hardcase stared in awe, "You didn't..."
"We did." Jesse grinned.
He tore open the packaging to find a purple baby boom.
"HOW MUCH DID THIS COST?!"
"To get one for christmas five credits off everyone in this mess hall." Rex smirked, "Then commander Tano made You some furby clone armour for him."
"THANK YOOOUUUU!!!!" he span around with the furby and hugged it super tight.
"HER NAME IN KEE KAH AND NOBODY CAN CHANGE MY MIND!"
"Yeah. Break it and your name will be head dead."

Hardcase didn't let that furby out of his sight for the entire day. He fed her while at dinner, he played with her, he literally treated her like his own baby. It was cute to see.
Thorin was getting a little jealous that Hardcase wasn't giving her any time of day though. The cat was also close to giving birth to her kittens any day. She sat on Echo's lap where she would get attention. Echo still hadn't found a cure to his cat allergies so just sat there crying for a considerable amount of time.
Kee Kah was proudly wearing her 501st armour.
"Hardcase stop making your Furby take a crap while I'm trying to eat!"

Nothing much out of the ordinary happened that christmas Day until the night.
Hardcase made a bed out of cardboard for his new child and tucked him in. He wasn't the biggest fan of purple but oh t would have to do. No daughter is perfect.
"Night night my angel. Sleep well."
"Hardcase, it's a toy. Grow up!"
"Sorry grandfather Echo! Your life is over while my parent hood is just beginning!"
"You can't be a parent to a toy!"
"Says you! Cat daddy!"
"Shelly that sounds so wrong."
"STOP CALLING ME SHELLY!!!!!!!!"
He curled over in his bed and fell into a deep deep sleep...
