Another kriffing mission. Great. Rex was stuck in hyperspace. He looked over his shoulder to see (y/n) by his side, looking out of the window smiling quietly. Kriff he loved her.
The planet the 501st was going to was calm. Full of greenery.
He smiled to himself. This mission he will do it. He'll slip away with her. Forgotten.
He hoped she would say yes.
A hologram came up. Weirdly she didn't even stir, like it wasn't there.
"Captain Rex, the time has come.
Execute order 66"
What?!
"It will be done my lord." he turned it off.
Why couldn't she hear anything?????
He didn't want to. He didn't want to do it.
But he has to.
No he doesn't you to do it!!
You have to.
"(y/n)"
She turned her head round, smiling.
"Yes?"
He couldn't look at her.
He shut his eyes tight and lifted his arm.
He pulled the trigger.

Rex bolted upright terrified.
It was just a dream. Again.
His breathing slowed and he went back to sleep around (y/n), holding her protectively.
