This was going to be a SMALL flashback in the FNaF chapter but then I quickly realised that you can't make a small flashback 1,000 words...
This is basically my idea of how Fives and Echo met. Enjoy.

"Quite amazing foreshadowing if you think about it." Echo mused.
"How is that amazing I almost got my face bitten off!"
"Well if you think about it where the other characters are going to come from are all out in the open and fairly obvious, however in the cut scene the brother hid where he wouldn't be suspected to scare the living crap out of us. He wore a Fox mask in the cut scene so the Fox toy in the closet was an obvious pointer."
"Alrighty then!"Fives laughed.
That was Echo, immediately speaking a paragraph to make even the illogical logical.

He remembered one time there was a power cut in the barracks at cadets. They must have been no older than 10 at the time, while nobody was particularly thrilled by the fact it was pitch black most of them got to sleep apart from Fives and Echo. Fives was apprehensive but he didn't tell anyone he was scared, he would have never heard the end of it. On the other hand Echo was scared kriffless. Next to him Fives could hear a shaking semi-quiet voice, not shouting loud as it would wake everyone up but more like the clone was talking to someone.
He was talking to himself.
"Light, a source of brightness which can be controlled with an electrical current of energy going through a filament or inert gas contained in a glass bulb. The filament after extensive use can wear down and break, cutting off power to the light."
Then it hit him. It was Echo. Repeating the exact same thing over and over again keeping his eyes tight shut.
"Light, a source of brightness which can be controlled with an electrical current of energy going through a filament or inert gas contained in a glass bulb. The filament after extensive use can wear down and break, cutting off power to the light."
Fives felt sorry for Echo but didn't want to say anything in case it scared him more.
"Light, a source of brightness which can be controlled with an electrical current of energy going through a filament or inert gas contained in a glass bulb. The filament after extensive use can wear down and break, cutting off power to the light."
He stayed up listening to him repeat it over and over again for half an hour until he slowly got quieter and the deep scared breaths stopped. Fives guessed he had fallen asleep. Feeling relieved that he was no longer as scared he fell asleep too. The next morning the lights were back on and he didn't bring it up, he barely knew the clone.
A year later when they were 11, the same thing happened again and Echo was just as scared as the first time. This time it struck Fives as odd, clones shouldn't have such a serious fear this far into training. They were going into higher barracks soon which were pitch black after a certain time.
""Light, a source of brightness which can be controlled with an electrical current of energy going through a filament or inert gas contained in a glass bulb. The filament after extensive use can-"
"-can wear down and break, cutting off power to the light."
Echo turned round shaking and adjusted his eyes to the darkness. Fives was sitting up on his bed. He could just make out his scared Eyes.
"Relax. It's me, Fives." he reassured him in a calm manner.
"Hi." he quietly replied
Fives got up and went across to Echo's bed.
"Mind if I sit?"
"No." he still didn't know how to react.
Was he going to tell anyone?
Fives didn't exactly sit he lied down next to him.
"What's your name?"
"Ct-1409."
"So I see you don't have a name yet."
There was a Pause.
"So you heard me when the power went out?" he nervously asked.
"Yeah. Don't worry I'm not going to tell anyone. In fact I couldn't sleep myself." he smiled.
There was a clang outside.
Echo jumped and gripped Fives arm tightly.
"But you on the other hand," he quietly laughed.
Echo started to trust him abit more. The laughter wasn't mean or malicious, it was actually quite nice.
"Why do you keep saying that?" he asked him.
"Oh about the lights? Well, er, when I'm scared, I, kind of keep repeating myself." he blushed, "It helps me rationalize what's happening so I've got something to concentrate on."
"I've also heard you repeat every order we get given as well."
Echo gave a little laugh, "I mainly do that to get everything clear in my head, think everything through."
There was another loud bang. Probably some older cadets running around trying to scare the younger ones.
Echo jumped again hugging into Fives tightly, keeping his eyes tight shut.
"Your okay, kriff," he said reassuringly, hugging him back.
"I'm, so, sorry." he said hugging Fives as tight as he could, he couldn't even move.
"really it's fine, what made you so scared of the dark anyway?"
"In binary theory when we were eight," Echo explained, eyes still tight shut, "I kept messing up on the Questions although I was sure I was getting them right then the computer broke. He knew it wasn't me it was the computer but he still shouted at me anyway."
Fives remembered that instructor with a pure hatred. The main thing he remembered was him screaming at another cadet in his class for what seemed to be no apparent reason.
"wait, you were that kid he was shouting at?"
"Yes I was. And as a punishment for flinching when he spoke to me he threw me into a pitch black storage cupboard and locked the door. For the most part I didn't mind the dark, but then the stupid screaming began."
"Screaming?" Fives asked.
"I'm pretty sure it was pipes but it sounded like screaming. It sounded so inhuman it just went on and on and on. I was almost screaming for him to let me out but he just walked away."
His voice was starting to crack.
"I didn't know what else to do so I tried drowning the screams out with my own thoughts. Something about pipes I kept repeating, I just lost it."
"Nine hours. I was stuck in that stupid room for Nine teching hours, just saying the same sentence over and over again. I thought I was going insane. Eventually some older clones found me curled up into a ball repeating the exact thing over and over."

"Hey Coke, was that noise?"
"seriously I get stuck with the most stupid nick-"
"seriously shut up."
They heard whimpering.
"What the hell is that?"
They located where the noise was and listened at the door.
"a tube used to convey water, gas, oil, or other fluid substances. a tube used to convey water, gas, oil, or other fluid substances. a tube used to convey water, gas, oil, or other fluid substances. Please sir I'll do anything please let me out!"
They unlocked the door and peered into the darkness. Sure enough there was Echo repeating the definition for a pipe over and over again.
"Oh my good god! Tack, go and grab an instructor now! Slick, help me try and snap him out of it! Good lord those pipes sound like someone's dying!"
Coke ran in and picked up the young shaking  Clone quickly followed by Slick.
They took him out and quickly shut the door, containing the ungodly sound and put him down.
"Kid who locked you in there?" Slick asked but he got no response.
"Pipe, a tube used to convey water, gas, oil, or other fluid substances. Pipe, a tube used to convey water, gas, oil, or other fluid substances. Pipe, a tube used to convey water, gas, oil, or other fluid substances. Please let me out sir please!"

"...Pipe, a tube used to convey water, gas, oil, or other fluid substances. It took a jedi to break me out of repeating myself and even then I couldn't tell her how long I was there or who put me in there. If it wasn't for her I probably would have been scrapped."
"Does anyone else know about it?" he asked softly.
"No," Echo looked up, "your the first person I've ever told."
Someone slammed the door again.
"Right that's it!" Fives went to go to the door.
"Fives-"
"It's fine I'll come back in a minute." Fives ran quietly and opened the door.
He stuck his head out, "LOOK YOU BUNCH OF SHAVITS SOME OF US ARE TRYING TO SLEEP KRIFF OFF!"
He pounded his fist on the door pad and went back to Echo.
Echo was beyond glad to see him back.
"What did you do?" Echo clung on To Fives' arm again.
"I told them to kriff off." he replied in a confident manner, then he came up with an idea.
"I have an idea," he said laying back down on the bed.
"What's that?"
"We find out whoever is running around the corridors then get them to do it on the grand master Chiefs quarters."
Echo grinned, still holding tightly onto Fives of course, "We could get into alot of trouble."
"But that's the whole fun of it."
Later they were both asleep in a small ball of brotherness.
And to this day Fives remains the only one he's told.
