CHAPTER 20
Red’s POV
I opened my eyes and the first thing I see is the beautiful sight of my wife sleeping soundly in my embrace. Masarap pala ang ganitong feeling. I remembered our conversation yesterday. We don’t sleep on the same room according to her. I know there’s something going on. But I just can’t figure out what it is. Maybe it has something to do with her rift with my sister, but I just can’t talk to my sister because I know her thoughts are going to be subjective and Yumi does not give me an answer at all.
I kissed my wife on the forehead. I’m lucky to wake up every day with a beautiful woman beside me. Maswerte din ako na hindi lang siya maganda. She is kind and caring at the same time. I can’t help but smile just by looking at her.
I saw her move a while later. When she opened her eyes, halatang nagulat pa siya na makita akong tinitingnan siya.
Napabalikwas siya sa kama. At biglang kumalas sa pagkakayakap sa akin.
“I’m sorry” She said while trying to fix her hair.
“Sorry for what?” I asked.
“W-wala” She stuttered. “Ano kasi… baka nabigatan ka sa’kin”
I laughed “Hindi ka naman mabigat ah. You sleep like a baby and you are even as heavy as a baby”
I saw her blush and I found it really cute. For somebody who just woke up, she can be such a turn-on.
Nagulat ako when her expression changed and she ran towards the bathroom. I was worried but I could only try and get up slowly because it wasn’t easy for me to move yet. I did my best to get off the bed and took my staff just beside it.
I knocked on the bathroom door. “Yumi, are you alright?” I called, but she did not answer.
“Yumi, open the door please!” I started to panic as I knocked on the door louder.
Binuksan naman niya kaagad ang pinto.
“Are you alright?” I asked again. I again saw that she changed her expression.
“Red, bakit ka tumayo? Hindi pa masyadong magaling ang mga tuhod mo. Baka lumala yan” She tried to help me get on the bed again, but I made her face me instead.
“Tell me, are you ok?” I asked again.
“I’m ok. Don’t worry about me. Think about yourself first. Paano ka gagaling niyan if pinipilit mong maglakad nang hindi ka pa masyadong magaling?” She scolded.
“I was worried about you. You just ran into the bathroom and I panicked. I thought something bad happened to you” I said.
Natigilan siya when I told her that. She then looked at me and smiled.
“Breakfast na tayo” She then said.

Yumi’s POV
Pagkatapos naming kumain, nagulat kami nang biglang dumating ang mga kaibigan ni Red.
“Bro! Welcome home!” Bati ni Carlos.
“Kung makasabi nang welcome home, parang may-ari ng bahay ah. Bahay mo to, bro?” Pambabara ni Red sa kaibigan sabay tawa.
