Isabella Evergreen

Isabella stood there, frozen. Unable to move. Looking at the boy who was in her dorm. She didn't know what to do. She didn't know what to say.

Theodore asked her something but she heard nothing but muffled sounds. She saw Katherine pushing Theodore out. Her eyesight was going blurry. Then, it was dark.

She walked in her dorm and saw someone she didn't expect to see until summer.

"Hello, bells. Missed me?" her father said. He was standing by the window.

"Hi, dad." Isabella managed to get out. "W-what are you doing here?"

He looked mad. "The headmaster phoned,"

Oh no.

"He said you've gotten detention. Why's that, bells."

"This- this boy kept talking to me. I tried to ignore him, but he kept talking. I'm sorry." she looked down to her feet.

She heard him walk closer to her, she saw his feet in front of hers. "What have I told you, Bells." he was shaking his head at her, " If the school calls me i'll-"

"You'll bring me back home, I know." Isabella murmured.

Glan put his hand in her hair with a grasp and made her look at him. Isabella winced at his touch.

"Look at me when I talk to you." He growled.

"Please," Isabella begged. A tear came out of her eye. "The people in the dorm beside us will hear."

"We're going home, Bells." glan said.

"Please, it won't happen again. Please, let me stay." she pleaded.

"No." he gripped her hair harder. Isabella had tears coming out of her eyes.

"I beg you, please. Dad, I promise it won't happen again."

He thought for a moment. He knew that she always kept her promises with him. "Fine." he let go of her hair.

"Thank you." Isabella said, wiping her tears.

Glan had still looked angry. He punched her. Punch. Punch. Punch. He had let out all of his anger out on her. Isabella fell on the floor with tears in her eyes. He gripped her hair again and punched her. Punch. Punch. Punch. Isabella was sobbing with all the pain and bruises he was giving her. Glen had punched her one too many times. As he was punching and kicking her, she passed out.

Isabella woke up to Katherine holding her on the bed stroking her hair. She couldn't remember anything. She looked at Katherine and asked; "What happened?"

Katherine looked at Isabella with relief that she woke up. "You passed out."

"Why?"

"Theodore came in and saw your eye." She explained.

"We have to do something. He can't know or tell what he saw." Isabella was scared that Theodore might have told someone. She doesn't want anyone else to know about what actually happened to her.

"I was thinking what you could say to him while you were passed out since you're a good liar." Katherine looked at her, laying on her side.

That was true. Isabella was a good liar. She has been lying since she was thirteen-years-old. The first time her father had hit her.

"Go on." Isabella was listening to her plan.

Katherine explained her plan. Isabella liked it. She agreed with the plan. Isabella got up from the bed, put on her brown colored coat and her sunglasses, and was about to walk out the door. But, when she opened the door, she saw Theodore about to knock on the door.
