Isabella Evergreen

Isabella felt bad for lucas. Really bad. It was really messed up after what they did to him. She wanted to come with them to his dorm but she could tell Katherine was mad at her for coming with theodore. But, Isabella thinks he grew on her a little. Like he's becoming a really good friend.

As they walked out the bathroom, Theodore immediately walked to the living room, spilling his drink all over the people who were on the sofa. "What the hell is wrong with you?" he yelled at them angrily.

"Yo, what the hell!" the tall, brown haired boy shouted at him.

"That was really fucking low, even for you, Cole." Theodore shouted back.

"Don't start acting all nice because you've been friends with this slag!" Cole said, pointing at isabella.

He did not just call me a slag!

He punched Cole. She flinched. Theodore saw. Shit. shit. Shit.

Isabella ran back to the bathroom, locking the door behind her. Someone was knocking at the door. It was theodore.

"Isabella!" he yelled through the door. "Open the door!"

She stays quiet. She tried to ignore him until he stopped yelling.

He's still shouting.

Isabella covered her face with her hands and sat on the floor.

Stop.

"Isabella."

Stop talking.

"Come on, open the door." Theodore said again.

It's been ten minutes and Theodore finally stopped banging and shouting on the door. And another five minutes until Isabella opened the door. When she opened the door, Theodore was leaning on the opposite wall, waiting for her to come out of the bathroom.

"You flinched." Theodore said in a low tone.

"No, I didn't." She lied.

"Yes, you did." He said.

"No. I didn't." Isabella said sternly.

"Then why did you lock yourself in the bathroom for fifteen minutes?" he questioned.

"I had to use the bathroom." She lied again.

"For fifteen minutes?" He looked at her in disbelief.

"And Katherine called." lie. "Lucas is okay for now."

"Really." he sighed.

"Yeah." she smiled, walking away. That wasn't a good lie. Why wasn't that a good lie? I was always good at lying. Why can't I lie to him?

Theodore followed her as she went outside. She put a cigarette between her lips. She doesn't have a lighter. "Can i use your lighter?"

He dug his hand into his pocket, taking out his hand with the lighter and giving it to her. She lit her cigarette and blew out the smoke. She gave him the lighter back and he put it back in his pocket.

"Isabella."

She sighed. "I didn't flinch. Okay? You saw wrong." she said angrily.

"Isabella," he whispered, loud enough for her to hear. "If you're being abused-."

She chuckled. "I'm not being abused, theodore. You're thinking too much into this." She walked down the stairs of the house. She wanted to leave the party. She thought it wasn't so fun anymore.

Theodore followed closely beside her. Bloody hell, why are you walking so damn close.

As she was walking, her phone buzzed. When she pulled out her phone from her pocket and looked at who it was, she sighed. It was Katherine. She didn't feel like getting interrogated by two people at once.

Once she answered the phone, Katherine started talking. "Isabella Evergreen," she started. "Why in god's name, have you gone to the party with Theodore Scott?! The last time you both went to a party, you ran out of the old house crying because he outed you with your bruises! He is vile and cruel and mean. You should know better!"

Isabella sighed, before stomping her now finished cigarette out, "Kat, I'm really tired and just about to go to bed. Can we talk about this tomorrow?" she lied with a fake yawn.

She heard Katherine sigh through the phone. "Fine. goodnight."

"Goodnight, I love you." she said with a tired voice, before she hung up the phone.

"Was that katherine?" Theodore asked.

"Yeah." she said with a sigh. "She's miserable with me."

"Because you came to the party with me." he raised a brow.

"Yup." she nodded.

"She really hates me, doesn't she? He asked.

"Yes. she really does." she said, smiling.

Once they got to Isabella's door, Theodore said, sighing: "Isabella."

"Theodore." Isabella looked at him, knowing what he's going to ask.

"Why did you flinch?" He looked at her, hoping that she's going to tell him the truth.

She looked him in the eye. She saw hope. She couldn't believe she was about to say this. She trusted him. More than katherine. She would never tell Katherine any of this on what she would tell theodore.

"Fine." she said.

"What?" He gave her a questioning look.

"I'm going to tell you. But it has to go from the start."
