Theodore Scott

After Isabella left, Theodore was about to fall back to sleep.

"Why did you say that?" the voice said.

He sighed in annoyance. "What do you want now?"

"I asked why did you say that? 'Dont be gone long.'"

"I just don't want her gone long."

"Really." it said in disbelief.

"Whatever. Now piss off, I'm trying to sleep." Theodore pushed the voice away and rolled over, now on his stomach. But then his phone buzzed in his front pant pocket. Bollocks. He laid on his back again, pulling his phone out of his pocket. It was from cole.

Cole: Oi, where are you?

Theodore: with a friend.

Cole: Did you know there's a party tonight? You going?

Theodore: Yeah, probably.

Cole: alright. I'll see you then.

Theodore put his phone down on the bed beside him and sat up, looking around the room. Posters on the wall, piles of books everywhere, clothes on the armchair in the corner of the room. What happened to the love seat she had?

He got off the bed, pulling out his pack of cigarettes. He only had one left. He has to go get some from the shop. He opened the window slightly and lit the tobacco part of the cigarette. He exhaled through the open part of the window and flicked off the ash out the window.

As he was smoking Isabella opened the door with a half empty water bottle in her hand. "Hey." she said, closing the door behind her.

"Hey." he said, exhaling out the smoke. "Want to go for a walk? I need more cigarettes."

She walked up to him, taking the cigarette out of his hand and started smoking. "Yeah, okay."

He pulled out his last cigarette from the pack and lit it. Inhaling and exhaling. Allowing the smoke to go in and out of his lungs.

When Isabella was done she stubbed the flame out on the metal part of the window sill and flict the filter out of the window. Theodore never realised how pretty she was. Beautiful even. Her beautiful chocolate brown eyes, her soft lips, her flawless skin, her sharp cheekbones-.

"You really like her." the voice interrupted his thoughts.

"No, i dont. I just thought she's pretty." he replied to the thought, annoyed.

"You can't lie to me, dumbass. I'm your inner thoughts. I know everything you think." it said.

"Okay. Maybe I like her a little. But, it's not a bad thing is it." he said, still annoyed.

"You know she's going to leave you after she knows what you did before you came here, right?"

"I know. That's why I'm not going to tell her." he quoted

"She's going to find out somehow." it said.

"How?" he asked it. "No one knows except me."

The voice said nothing. Theodore just thought it went away because it has nothing to say back.

"Hello?" Isabella waved her hand in front of his face. "Are you listening?"

He looked at her confused. "What?"

"I asked when do you want to leave? Because curfew isnt for another hour and a half." she repeated herself.

"Oh. Er- yeah. Sorry. I dazed out a bit." he stuttered.

"No, it's fine." she smiled.

"Well, let's go." he walked to the door, turning around seeing Isabella putting on her coat that was on the armchair. "I just have to go to my dorm for my coat. I'll meet you outside, yeah?"

She nods. "Okay."

He turned around, opening the door. "See you, then." he said before closing the door behind him.
