Theodore got off the bus and on the street Mary Ann gave him. The houses on this street were all big. Probably half the size of his dad's house. But, Isabella's mum's house was by far one of the biggest houses on the street.

He knocked on the door and Mary Ann opened the door. She looked at him, smiling slightly. She was looking worried. "Hello, Theodore." she smiled, trying to hide her facial expression, moving  out of the way for him to come in.

Where is Isabella?

As Theodore came in through the door, he knitted his brows together. "What happened?" he asked. "Where is Isabella?"

"She's been in her room ever since we came back." she said, shaking her head and closing the door. "It's probably nothing, but since we were on the train yesterday, she's been a bit off."

"What do you mean?" he wondered.

"I don't really know how to explain it. She just hasn't acted like this." she explained.

"Do you want me to go and give it a go?" he nodded up towards the stairs that were by the front entrance, knowing that she would open the door for him.

Mary Ann nodded. "Up the stairs, on your left."

Theodore places down his bags and walked up the stairs. When he got to the room, he tried opening the door to let himself in.  but it was no use. The door was locked. Theodore knocked on the door, "Isabella?" he said. "It's me."

There was no answer.

Theodore thought that it was weird. Because he thought that she would answer him and open the door. He knocked on the door again. "Isabella, can you open the door?" he asked, sounding concerned.

There was still no answer.

"Isabella? You're getting me worried." he shouted through the door. He kept knocking and knocking but she still won't answer.

Mary Ann came up the stairs, looking at him with a worried look. "Nothing?" she asked.

Theodore looked at her, shaking his head.

She sighed, "kick the door down i don't care."

Theodore placed his hand around the doorknob and used all of his force to try and put all of his force to push on the door. He kept pushing and pushing on the door.

As he was pushing on the door, he thought the worst of what

she could be doing. Don't you dare be dead. Please don't be dead.

When the door finally opened, Theodore and Mary Ann sped into the room. When they didn't see Isabella, they went into the bathroom. Theodore stood, frozen at the door, while Mary Ann leaped past him.

We could have made it out of this together.
