Theodore Scott
Theodore was terrified for isabella. The doctor said that was lucky to still be alive. That she lost a lot of blood and that she would have to stay a few nights in the ICU until she has enough blood in her system.
They're talking about putting her in a mental health facility for her depression. Her mother thought it was the best thing to do. To put her in the facility again. She thought it would be best to get her the help she needed and get treatment.
But Theodore thought differently. He thought that they would just use her for tests and treatment she didn't need. He knows that when he visits her, she won't be the Isabella he knew.
Theodore's cell rang. He got up from the chair he was sitting on in the room Isabella was in and left the room. He pulled out his phone, reading who was calling him. Mum. Theodore pushed on the answer button, "hi, mum."
"Hi, theo." she said through the phone. "How is she?"
Theodore told Rose that Isabella was in the hospital for what she did. "She's going alright. Has to stay a few nights." he said.
"That's good, that's good." she said in a tone. Theodore knew that tone. She thinks about something and tries to persuade him into what she wants.
"What is it?" he asked with a sigh.
"I just don't think you should see her anymore." she sighed. "Even if you're not, I don't think you should be with her. You're going to regret doing all of this for her. You should be with someone whos-"
"Who's what, mum?" He cut her off, not wanting her to find the sentence.
"Who's not going to drain you from head to toe?" she finished.
Theodore looked at Isabella through the window. "No." he said sternly. "I can't. I promised I'll save her."
"You can't promise her that." she whined.
"I already did." She looked away from isabella. "I did because I love her," he confirmed.
"You what?" she asked.
"I love her," he repeated.
Rose didn't say anything for a minute. "You're going to regret this and don't say I didn't warn you." she said, angrily before hanging up the phone.
"You love her?" the voice asked.
Theodore looked at the sleeping girl through the window. "I do." he admitted not only to the voice, but to himself. He didn't realize that he loved her until that moment. The words just came out like vomit. He thinks he always loved her, he just haven't realized.
Theodore came back into the room and laid next to Isabella, trying not to wake her and her mother up.
Isabella sleepily laid her head on his chest.
Theodore wrapped his arms around her and laid his chin on her head. He was stroking her back, paying all of his attention to the sleeping girl he loved.
Theodore loves Isabella, but he knew she wouldn't believe it. Theodore was fine with that, because deep deep down, he knew that she would love him one day. One day, and they'll be in love.
