chapter twenty

Theodore Scott

Theodore tried not to smile ath the words Ms Reid said. "You two would make a nice couple." He hasn't thought about them dating, but he thought of protecting her from her father and anything else that would hurt her.

He didn't say anything to the sweet women, nor did isabella. They just kept quiet.

"Come on, let's go." Isabella said, breaking the awkwardness between them.

"Honestly, you always know how to please a girl, but you're so awkward around this one." the voice said, annoyed.

"Oh, you're annoyed, eh? You're not the one who has to listen to you all damn day." Theodore said, sharply to the voice.

"Fine. ill stop." it groaned. "For a while."

As they were walking, Ms Reid asked if they wanted to go and get something to eat. They both said yes, but Isabella was a bit hesitant.

When they got to the coffee shop, Ms Reid bought them muffins and tea. Theodore wanted to buy them himself to be kind, but Isabella's mother wouldn't let him. She just told him to sit by isabella.

While Theodore and Isabella waited for their coffee and muffin, Isabella was reading her book that she brought, and Theodore was thinking. Thinking of what Ms Reid said. "You two would make a nice couple."

He was thinking of what it was like to date Isabella Evergreen. Him and her. boyfriend and girlfriend. How it would be like waking up next to her, holding her, hearing her laugh, the little dates they would go on. He thought they would be perfect together.

Ms Reid came back with their order, and they ate.

Once they were done eating, they left for the shop. It was a little store for clothes and Isabella said that they came here for clothes shopping.

Isabella and Ms Reid were looking around in the shop, while Theodore was outside having a cigarette.

"Can I say something now?" the voice asked.

Theodore sighed. "Fine what?"

"You really fancy her." it said.

"Oh really? Haven't noticed, Sherlock." he said to the voice, sarcastically.

He heard it sigh and it haven't said anything.

He stubbed out his cigarette when he was done and walked inside he saw Isabella and her mother checking out their clothes.

They all walked to the car and drove to the school. Once Isabella and Ms Reid said their goodbyes, Ms Reid turned to theodore. "I hope to see you again, theodore." she smiled.

"I hope to see you again as well, Ms Reid" Theodore said, kindly.

'You can call me Mary Ann." Ms Reid said.

He smiled at her, Mary Ann got in the car and drove away.

Isabella and Theodore walked inside, carrying her bags full of clothes and stopped at her door.

"I'll see you later, yeah?" Theodore asked.

Isabella nodded. "Yeah, I'll come find you." she said.

Theodore didn't want to leave her. Alone. He was afraid of what she would do if she was alone.

Isabella closed the door once she went into her dorm and Theodore walked away, hesitantly. He didn't want to leave her. Alone. He wanted to be by her side, making sure she's okay.
