"Mr. Park-" Mr. Nam huffed. "What happened, Mr. Nam?" I asked.

"Lift no. 3... it- it got stuck!" he managed to say while still catching his breath.

"What?" My eyes widened in surprise; such things never happened in the office. "Is there anyone inside it?" I asked urgently.

"Yes, Mr. Park."

"Who!?" I asked anxiously.

"Two female employees and a child." My eyes grew even wider. I ran to the elevator with Mr. Nam, who called maintenance for help.

It took almost an hour to get them out. Fortunately, everyone was fine, but the child felt dizzy. Mr. Nam offered to take the child and his mother to the hospital, but I insisted on taking them myself, which took even more time.

"I'm really sorry. Please stop crying," Jimin said, tightening his hug around Nicole.

"I-I thought something bad happened to you," she said, gripping his shirt.

"See, I'm fine." She broke the hug.

"Then why weren't you picking up my calls?? I called Jungkook, and he said you had a meeting. After that, he also didn't pick up my calls."

He brushed her hair with his fingers. "I am sorry again," he said, taking a few seconds before continuing, "It's just that a lot happened today, and I couldn't get a chance to inform you."

She wiped her tears as Jimin told her everything that happened at the office. She understood why he wasn't able to come.

"Let's eat something. You must be hungry." He shook his head. "No, I'm fine-" His stomach growled, interrupting him. Jimin scratched his head in embarrassment.

Nicole laughed. "Probably, you're not hungry, but your stomach is." Suddenly, Nicole's stomach growled as well. "I think I'm hungry too." Jimin's eyes filled with guilt.

"You've been waiting for me for so many hours without eating. I'm sorry, Nicole."

She took his hand in hers and smiled, reassuring him. "Don't be. What happened wasn't your fault."

"Let's go now. We both are hungry." Jimin smiled and nodded.

He drove her to his favorite restaurant, but unfortunately, it was closed today.

"Aish! Why today?" he growled, annoyed. "I wanted to take you here."

Nicole chuckled. "That's okay. We can come some other time."

"But-" He hit the steering wheel in frustration.

"Let's go somewhere else. I'm really hungry." She stated. Jimin looked around for any open restaurant but found none.

After searching for a while, he found one open restaurant. It wasn't luxurious, but he didn't mind since they had visited similar places before.
