Day Two- Suit

(A/n Okay, so I do not own the Avengers or any relating characters. Marvel and technically Disney owns the Avengers and stuff. This is my disclaimer attempt.) 

"I see a suit of armor around the world. " Those are the words of Tony Stark. billionaire, inventor, playboy, philanthropist, ect. You know who he is. He is thee famous Iron Man after all. And that is where it fell to pieces.

Hello, my name is Charlie (Christine) Evans. I live in New York, near Brooklyn. Even from where I live, if I am on the roof of my building, I can see the Avengers tower. Years ago I would occasionally go up to watch Mr. Stark fly out in his armor. I would never dare do that now.

Three years ago was the accident in Sokovia. My best friend's cousin died there. He was visiting the city on a class field trip. He went to many countries around there. Or well, he was supposed to. I remember sitting at school watching the live footage of what was going on. I wanted to be home. I thought I was going to die that day. I wanted to be with my parents, baby siblings, and pet snake. When they destroyed the rock I was so happy. But I knew not everyone would have lived. Not with something that big.

It was hard to hear that my friend lost his cousin. And when the casualties came in, it was heartbreaking. I wondered what the Avengers were feeling? One of them lost a brother. Did they have this overwhelming guilt? Was this far too normal? Did they blame themselves? Were they all responsible?

A few months after the city fell, Mr. Stark made an announcement on television. Him and the other Avengers were going to talk about what happened with Sokovia. Mr. Stark wore a black suit, as the other men and Black Widow and the new girl, Wanda, wore black dresses.

It seemed like they had a plan, planned out, but then something happened. Iron Man went off script. I think he felt extra guilty for what happened. He had some changes in mind that apparently he did not preface with the team. There was an explosion from everyone watching.

Now there is basically a suit of armor around the world. After some time most of the other Avengers came aboard, but not all of them. There are new weaponry structures everywhere in the US and many in other countries. They block out invaders and protect us. Most of the world agreed to band together to fight against aliens when they come. It is Us vs Them.

There is still a lot of work to do as this is only the third year of it. Many details are still being ironed out and many country disputes are coming up. Mr. Stark has teams made to deal with these disputes and keep peace. So far a lot of progress has been made, though. More than expected.

The world is coming together as one. Not everyone agrees though with what is going on. Many of those people are silenced, ignored, or in underground resistance groups. I heard that there is even an Avenger leading one of the groups. As the earth is coming together, it is also being torn apart.

There IS a suit of armor around the world. We are safer. But we lost so much free will. Governments are changing, though they claim not to. We are being trapped in a cold world instead of a green one.

There had to be another way. But yet if I say something or stand up, what will happen? Mr. Stark claims there is good peace, but half the world, including most of my family, basically hates his guts.
