*Day Fifteen- Helmet

"Okay. we are going to try this again." Mom said.

"You got this dear." Dad encouraged.

"I am nervous." she whispered.

"Just learn how to ride your bike." her brother said annoyed.

"I don't want to get hurt! I am not you. I don't like taking chances." she defended hotly.

Mom gave a look at her son. The brother got a thoughtful look on his face. He came close to his sister.

"Do you know why I take chances? Because I know that when I learn it and do it, I will have so much more fun. I promise you, that riding your bike is so much more fun than not riding your bike." he gave her an encouraging smile.

"Are you sure?" she asked.

"Yes! Now take your helmet and show the whole block how you can ride your bike like a big girl." he told her.

Soon she was zipping up and down the street. She only fell off once or twice. And her brother remembered that his job was to protect his sister.
