It was that time of year, hunting season. The Hunter family held their breath in anticipation. During this time of year it didn't matter what grade you got, as long as you were passing. They went out, at least some of them 3 times a week, and they all were out on every Saturday. That was until Brielle got oddly sick.
She had been hunting and walking through talk grass a little less than a week before. The family was getting worried, she called her mother into her room. She showed her mom the telltale bullseye on her leg. She was bitten by a tick.
They quickly took her to the hospital. Lymes disease was confirmed and the antibodies given. A few weeks later, when the fever was gone, everyone was hunting again. And like God was smiling down on her, Brielle shot a nice big buck.
So remember, always check for ticks.
