My eyes widened uncontrollably, feeling the ends of my skin cells rise in hot goosebumps whilst my blood ran ice cold, throat feeling dry.

"W-what?" I asked, fearing my brother whom I once used to share anything and everything with. Jimin stared at me with a stone solid face for an embarrassing good second, plump lips curving in a loud grin as the ends of his eyes curved in such a way I knew I wasn't visible to him anymore, "D-did you just..." He breathed out, snorting and breaking into a peal of loud obnoxious laughter.

"You pretend to be all genius and shit and yet you-" He leaned his head back, stupid loud laughter hurting my ears and making me feel like they were about to bleed any second now.

"Though I'd break that dude's nose if he ever tried anything funny with you," he then loosened, "I can't deny that he is really handsome," Jimin spoke, laughter turning into a mocking giggle, still displeasing. "And not forgetting the fact you're a fucking embarrassment, please!"

I didn't feel even a pinch of the offense that he had wickedly hurled towards me, rolling my eyes but snarling my next words out, "Huh? At least I didn't get rejected by 7 girls and 3 boys! Or is it more now?"

My brother scowled at my words but smirked the next second, "You never even had the guts to confess, coward, and Yeri rejected cause she's gay!"

My expressions formed into a glare, fishing for the remote and turning on the TV in order to hush his obnoxiously annoying and horn-like voice. "Fuck you, Jim."

"Eeee," He shrieked, acting like a bitch he was and will forever be, "No one would."

Mr. Jeon just might.

Saturday night as I packed my bag for the next morning, I realized that this was the first weekend in years that I hadn't even opened my books, a little surprise masking my face as I placed them in my bag. At least I had completed my homework already in class.

A flaming firework of horror flashed before my eyes as I realized that the only subject I hadn't completed was none other than math.

I peeked at the wall clock as the longer needle ticked closer to 12 and clicking as it hit exact midnight. No longer caring for the time, I scrambled towards my study table, opening up my huge math book as my fingers moved by themselves in anxiety.

Double-checking each answer as I wrote in a clean and tidy way, discarding the entire paper if the calculation seemed to create too much of a havoc on the page.

Time went by quick as I now leaned back on my chair, feeling a numbing ache on the bone of my assets as I had sat on the seat on the same spot for three hours straight, going as far as starting another next few questions just as Mr. Jeon would expect from me.

I sighed, feeling strained and a slight ache in the palm of my hand from holding the pen for so long without a break. But all was worth it. I smiled to myself, imagining the way his long and pretty lashes would flutter with glittering gorgeous eyes as he'd praise me in front of the whole class, making me feel the only special girl for him and stemming deeper feelings within me for the tall and strong man he was.

The way he would curl his cherry and glossy lips so wonderfully, making me question if such a beautiful and elegant specimen could even exist so freely.
