With the huge trophy in hand and happiness embodied in a man at my side, it was practically impossible for me to stop stretching these goddamn lips of mine, smiling despite the numb ache of my jaw.

"Hopefully you'll like this place." He placed his hand behind my seat, reversing with one hand and looking back as he parked the car. How can someone look so sinfully sexy and illegally angelic at the same time?

Just as he removed the key out of the ignition hole, Jungkook's chocolate brown eyes caught mine, a very captivating smile taking control over his tantalizing lips.

He smirked, "Want something?"

Still unable to hide my smile, I shrugged in oblivion, "I believe we made a deal earlier..?"

Then I heard it. The sweet melodious laughter that had me whipped right from the beginning. Utterly so irrevocably knee deep in the abyss. "Take your mind out of the gutter, Miss Y/n." He said, getting out of the car but opening my door. "And come."

I could only laugh in response before feeling a soft and calm breeze whispering in my ears. Serene. The evening sky contorted in a swirl of pink and orange strokes, the sun just above the horizon, creating a beautiful painting.

Jungkook held my hand in his calloused, tough one but the grip remained as delicate and gentle as ever, my eyes softening landing on our laced fingers he continued to lead me.

There was a huge stadium in the distance, moderately filled with people as they chattered and buzzed. It was a calm setting, everything serene and cool.

Venturing deeper inside, we took a seat in the bleachers and I immediately breathed into the fresh air of the space, looking up at the different hues of the evening sky as I leaned backwards, my mind floating around before lingering on today's events.

Life is such a funny thing. Sometimes the whole world seems to be simply absurd, stupidly unfair but then again, every now and then it is full of every imaginable kind of magnificence, a delightful and mysterious sort of dream. You only value something when you desperately struggle to get it or have lost it before.

"Look around you." I straightened my body but obeyed the soft voice of my boyfriend, looking around me and noticing that the crowd was easing deliberately. "Earlier there were so many people here but now only a few are left."

I hummed along, mumbling a playful 'thank god' but found myself falling deeper as I stared into his twinkling eyes. "Life is like a stadium, when you're at the highlight of your life, everyone is there for you, cheering for you, supporting you and loving you."

"But when the match ends? The Fun ends, everyone is gone just like that." I giggled a little, pointing at a few people who were still talking and eating on the seats. "They're still there!"

The orangish yellow sunlight cascaded on Jungkook's face, highlighting his features majestically and making him appear like a three dimensional model. He smiled at my comment, squeezing my hand but returning the warmth. "Only some people stay back, very few. But what will you always have?"

I thought for a while, shaking my head as I frowned. I mean as I die, all my money, clothes, etcetera etcetera would be gone anyway. So what do I have?

"You'll have yourself, little bug. You'll always have yourself and that's someone you can always count on, without a doubt. Don't rely on others to be the source of your power, your happiness… And when you'll start doing that, people won't like it. They like to feel entitled. They seek entertainment. Don't let anyone reduce your value to sole entertainment."
