The next day, I found myself waking up faster than my alarm could ring, putting on a little more effort into getting ready than I did every day.

I was excited to go to school for the first time ever, it shone a weird sort of emotion within me. Butterflies, bustling, vibrant butterflies reminding me of yesterday's events but rendering me jittery each time. Despite knowing just how wrong I was to romance a teacher, at least I wasn't having sex or taking drugs.

So basically, I was still a good person.

Taking my bag downstairs, I noticed mom preparing breakfast as my dad assisted, my elder brother, the most annoying douchebag in the world, who would put professional clowns to shame, Jimin, only sitting at the dining table and playing games on his mobile.

"Good morning to everyone except Jimin," I greeted in a tedious voice, plunging my bag on the sofa before joining the table. It was simple toast and coffee, the only thing my system could allow so early in the morning.

I watched Jimin gulp down the burning hot coffee in one go and take the fairly burning toast in one hand, standing up but slinging his backpack over his shoulder. He was a college student which made me wonder just how much had he been tortured to find this all entertaining at goddamn 6 in the morning.

Nonetheless, after my very loud and obnoxious brother was finally out after a relatively louder farewell, dad sat down in front of me, his eyes zooming on me, "So how has school been?"

My mind immediately went to the very alluring face of my new teacher that I looked very much forward to seeing, stomach churning in nervousness during the process.

"Good."

We weren't very rich or very poor, just a little above than what would be deemed as average. Fortunate enough to have a big house and a car but still not being able to order food online without a round of merciless beggings. Dad was a manager in accountancy with an excellent salary while mom opted to take care of home matters and be a housewife.

Sipping the last bits of my hot coffee, I stood up but straightened my uniform, taking my school bag and bidding a short farewell before finally walking out and leaving the house.

It was way too sunny for this early in the morning and I groaned internally, wanting to just rush to take the bus and reach the school building already. Just as I took my seat, I realized that I had brought the wrong English book with me. By then the bus had already started, moving further and further away from my stop while all I could do was to continue to look outside anxiously.

I sighed, Miss Rosa wouldn't punish me for such a simple mistake now, would she?

Turns out, she did.
