Halloween - Part 2

"Y/N, I mean it. This is creeping me out," He wraps his hands around the edges of your shoulders and squeezed you. "If a monster or zombie comes out, tell it that I'm behind you so it can eat me first, then run, okay?" He says it so seriously you have to question whether or not it was a joke.

"Um, okay?"

"HOLY SH-"

"What?"

Shawn screeches and moves his hands from your shoulder to your waist, wrapping his arms all the way around you and pulling you back towards him as he kicked violently.

"Shawn!! What's going on? What did you see?" You ask, your eyes wide as his hands still wrap around your waist tightly.

He blushes. "A spider."

You throw your head back and laugh.
"Oh my god! You're worse than I thought!!"

"Y/N...it could have been poisonous."

"It wasn't!"

"You don't know that!" He argues.
"And plus, your wonderful boyfriend guarded you as he should've in any situation," He says proudly.

You smile and look down at his hands, now loosely draped around your hips.

"I love you so much," You whisper, still smiling. His brown eyes meet yours and he smiles back. "I love you too."

"You wanna get out of here, now?" You suggest.

He nods quickly. "God yes."

So you grab his hand and he leads you out of the house, and together you walk back to his house, where you snuggle and watch horror movies and eat each other's candy until you fall asleep.
