A/n: Okay so, I guess you could say this is kind of like Reyna when Jason came back his Piper.

Imagine... seeing Leo with his girlfriend Calypso after years of his supposed death.

I wish you were here.

You strolled into a vintage-looking repair shop in New York. You held your five year-old nephew's hand, as a lollipop stayed in his mouth. He wore a sports cap-- a gift from a fellow saytr named Grover.

"Be on your best behavior, Adam," you smiled at the little boy.

"Aw, Auntie (y/n), but you know I like being like Daddy," Adam pouted.

"Your dad caused a lot of trouble," you muttered. "You're lucky Smelly Gabe isn't around."

Adam scrunched up his nose. "Dad told me he was turned into a statue."

"He was," you nodded as you rolled your bicycle to the register. A girl in a silky white, knee length dress, with a belt cinched at her waist, looked up from the magazine she read.

You expected the title to say, PEOPLE's magazine, but instead it read: IMMORTALS.

"Hello," the girl greeted, her name tag reading Calypso. "Welcome to Leo and Calypso's Repair Shop. How may I help you?"

Calypso... the name sounded familiar. Maybe she was a demigod you knew a few years back when the war with Gaea happened.

"Leo," you said. "As in Leo Valdez?"

I hope it's you.

Calypso studied you, a flicker of recognition crossing her face.

You hear ruckus in the back of the store, objects breaking. "Somebody call my name?"

You froze, not wanting to hear more. You quickly spun around, pushing Adam in front you.

"Adam, let's g--"

"(Y/n)?" You stopped in your tracks, turning to face your old best friend-- your crush... from what felt like a century ago. But in reality, it had been a decade.

You managed a weak smile. "Hi Leo."

I haven't seen you in so long.

He looked handsome with his broad shoulders, and lean body. He still wore the same suspenders, grease smeared on his forehead.

Adam pulled on your sleeve, staring up at you with familiar sea-green eyes, and curly light brown hair-- a mix of black and blonde. "Who's that?"

Adam could have passed as your child.

"He's... a friend, bud." You take a quarter out from your wallet. "Here, go put it in the machine and go get yourself some blue gum."

Adam gratefully took it, running from your side.

You face Leo again, his eyes held a soft sadness. You wanted to hear his laugh.

It felt like forever.

"You're suppose to be dead," you said.

I cried for you.

You were crushed when Leo had died.

A look of hurt crossed his features, but he hid it well. "Well, you can't keep this bad boy down very long." He motioned his hands to himself.

You chuckled lightly, shaking your head. "How've you been?"

Leo fixed a rack of tools. "I'm mighty fine. Y'know, with the monsters here and there, everything's going alright."

Everything's going alright without me.

Leo eyed Adam, who hid himself behind your leg. "What about you? I see you've settled down."

I miss you.

"I'm doing fine," you said. "This... is Adam. He isn't mine. He's Percy and Annabeth's son."

Leo smiled, Calypso coming out from behind him, wrapping her arms around him.

You're together.

"(Y/n), I want you to meet my fiancé, Calypso."

You're engaged.

You put on your happiest face, although it hurt you. "Congratulations. That's great, Leo. Send me an invite to the wedding. I can assure you, I'll be there."

I'll be watching the love of my life get married to another girl.

Leo smiled even wider, leaving his future-wife's side, and pulled you into a hug.

You wrapped your arms around his body, you face buried into the crook of his neck. Tears threatened to spill from your eyes.

You're back, you thought. But you're not mine.

After all this time, mourning his death... he's alive.

Months you spent attempting to find his body... only to find nothing.

You now understood Reyna, former praetor of Rome. She spent time looking for Jason, but she found him with another girl-- Piper.

You sniffled, your throat closing on you. "I missed you, hot-head."

Leo chuckled. "I haven't heard you call me that in years," he muttered. "Maybe we can hang out sometime next week. Catch up on what I missed."

You pulled away, regaining composure, and smiling. "Sure, I'd like that."

.............

I feel bad for Reyna now, because Jason came back with another girl, I can't imagine the pain she must've felt... ugh.

Do you ship Caleo?

A: nope, but they're cute together.

And please, don't start ship wars, because we all have our rightful opinions.
