Imagine... Apollo taking you to a ball. [Apollo is still a god, but he is also a famous actor that's incognito.]

"When are you going to the ball?" asked your close friend Annabeth. "Do you know what you're going to dress in?"

"I don't know," you admitted. "He said on July twenty-first. We have matching outfits."

"Oh gods," Annabeth laughed. "Was it your idea to have matching outfits or Apollo's?"

You blushed out of embarrassment. "Apollo's..."

You've been dating Apollo since the age of sixteen. You started at a young age. It was actually a few years back, when Annabeth had been kidnapped-- when Thalia crashed the bus into the lake. At first, he tried everything to get your attention when he noticed you didn't fall for his charm.

It was annoying at first, but you eventually gave in.

Now, you're twenty and a half. It's been four or five years. You aren't completely sure.

You don't live at Camp Half-Blood. You live in New Rome, but you were just visiting Camp Half-Blood for the month. You helped Chiron with some activities with the younger demigods, like sword fighting.

Malcolm, who slept on the floor with a blanket and pillow, cursed under his breath. "(Y/n), do you have any idea what today is?"

"It's Friday," you answered. You thought he'd been asleep the entire time.

Earlier when you first entered the Athena cabin, you asked him why he slept on the floor instead of his own bed.

He said it was because the Stolls keep pranking me while him sleep.

You left him alone after that.

"Yes," he nodded. "And?"

"And what?"

Malcolm opened his eyes, pushing his blonde hair out of his face. He propped himself on his elbows, giving you an are you kidding me look. "Today's the twenty-first," he grumbled grouchily, laying back down and pulling the blanket over his head. "Jeez," you heard him mutter under his blanket. "Who knew you were dense?"

"Hey!" You crossed your arms, nudging his leg with your foot roughly. "I'm not dense! At least I know how to not fall out of a tree," you huffed.

He mumbled a whatever, and turned on his side to face away from you.

"Come on," Annabeth said. "Pipes and I need you to get you ready for tonight. We don't have much time."

You were ready by the time Apollo came by. You awaited for him by Thalia's Tree.

You stood there for a while-- until a glowing light in the darkening lit everything. You shielded your eyes, already feeling the warmth radiating from the car.

You placed a hand over your eyes until the glow died. A chill went down your spine as the heat went away.

You walked to the passenger side, opening the door and sliding in.

"Hello, sweetheart," Apollo smiled, his smile seeming to glow like his car had earlier. "You dressed beautifully tonight."

Apollo wore a purple tux to match your purple dress that went to above your ankle. Everyone going to the ball had to be matching to their date. Since the ball was a fundraiser for the LGBT community (homeless kids in need of housing and food), you didn't necessarily need to wear black and white.
