Chapter 6: Favourite Boy

Bright walks out from the office slowly, still in daze while Mix running towards him and asks,

"How is the things Bright?"

Mix clearly wants to know what exactly happen to him after meeting their boss but Bright doesn't know how to tell him. He ends up shakes his head and walks to the kitchen.

"Did boss fired you?" Mix asks again tailing behind his back.

He pulls Mix with him and takes Mix to the stor behind the kitchen. Mix whom still confused just tag along.

"Why are you dragging me here, Bright?" Mix asks impatiently.

"Shhh.. " He checks around. After he find out only them are there, he heaves out a sigh.

"I think Mr Win had gone crazy" Bright tries to keep his voice as low as possible.

"Why?"

"He dismiss me from the job but..."

"But..?" Mix picks up my last words.

"But... he asks me to be his personal assistant instead"

"Wha—" Mix almost raise his voice, but Bright immediately covers his mouth.

Mix removes Bright's hand and says, "I thought I was joking when I said he likes you!"

Bright goes silent for awhile. "Nonsense. Why would he?"

"Then how you explain about his treatment towards you? I lost count how many times you broke his tools and you basically turn everything down when you touch them Bright. He let you go and just shift your duty here"

"I guess he has soft heart?" Bright tries break Mix's theory about Mr Win liking him.

"You already know and watch him in 3 weeks. Do you think he really has soft heart when it comes to work? I doubt so. He is indeed kind in natute but if you look back, when someone mess up with his workplace, he is quite scary" Mix still want to preach his theory.

"Since when you learn to connect the dot?" Bright asks as he sees Mix was too immersed in his theory.

"I have keen eyes you know. I can sense things" Mix tell proudly.

"Ahh.. I don't know" Bright leave Mix and walks out from the stor.

Bright POV

"So, you mean now Bright is the boss's favourite boy??" MJ asks Mix while laughing his ass off earning a smack from me.

He rubs his head and complains, "Could you warn me first before you smack my head?"

I give him 'you deserve it' a look.

"So, now you don't work there anymore and be his baby sitter instead?" Ren asks me jokingly.

"I still work as usual but he won't let me touch his cafe. So, I will need to assist him only when he need my help"

"It sounds weird to me" Ren sips a drink.

"Joking aside, why don't he just dimiss you if he find you cannot do job properly? This is suspicious" MJ butts in.

"My theory is our boss like Bright, but Bright doesn't buy it" Mix explains to out friends.

"Is that boss of yours is handsome?" Ren suddenly asks in curious.

Mix shows our boss photo which I don't know why Mix keeps i in his phone in the first place. He says he took it when boss seems focus working on new ice cream recipe.
