Chapter 19: The real me

That night, Win returns to his apartment without telling Apo. It's been long time he didn't break down like that. He doesn't want to burden anyone with his problem. So, he left a short message to Apo saying he is fine and don't worry about him. To his surprise Bright is waiting for him inside his apartment.

He laughs inside when he realized he is the one who let this kid in front of him knows a password to his apartment. As he opens the door, their eyes meet. The person in front of him look sad and.. disappointed..

He closes the door and walks inside as if nothing happen.

"Phi.." Bright calls out his name.

"Mnnn?"

Bright grits his teeth. He wants to ask a lot of question but nothing comes out from his mouth. He feels angry about yesterday since Kavin showed up instead of Win but he knows he should not.

"Where are you? I can't get through your phone." Bright ends up asking Win's well-being. It is truth he is worried when he can't contact Win yesterday.

"I'm at my brother." Win talks in a low tone.

Right now, Win is tired and just want to rest because he still doesn't recover from a cold. He wants to be alone. That's why he left the villa but who knows Bright would be here.

"You catch a cold?" Bright walks closer. Now, Win talks more than a few words he could hear the other's voice is hoarse.

"I'm fine." Win assures the younger.

Now, Bright realized Win probably sick. So, that's why Kavin showed up instead of him. Win should let he knows if he is sick. Bright thought, Win probably doesn't want him to worry. So, he doesn't want to press that matter anymore.

"You can go back now." Win walks passing over him.

"Let me take care of you." Bright hold Win's arm.

Win halts his step. He turns to Bright and unconciously mutters, "Why are you doing this, Bright?" He doesn't mean to ask it loud. However the words already escaping his mouth.

"Phi.. are you really didn't know why I'm doing this?" Bright asks in serious tone.

Here we go again. Of course he knows very well the reason.

Bright turns Win to him, "You didn't know how upset I was when yesterday, Kavin, your twins showed up instead of you to watch movie with me." Win expression changes slightly at the mention of Kavin's name but he quickly composed himself.

"But then I can't stay mad that long because I was worried about you, phi. I have call you but cannot reach you. I feel restless. I came here that night and went to your cafe but you are nowhere to be found. So, I decide to wait for you here."

"Silly kid." Win lets out a weak laughs.

"I don't care if anyone call me silly. You might think I am too young for you but at least I am brave enough to fight for the person that I love. So that I won't regret later on. Even though I will meet disappointment, at least I have tried my best and have no regret."

Win falls into silent when he listens to Bright. At the moment he realizes something, he always sees Bright as a young boy who still having fun in his life. However, he seems miss about how Bright acted all this while towards him. Bright doesn't give up easily. He changes for the better. He fight for his love one. He is consistent and persistent.

Does he miscalculated the person in front of him before?

"I have done all of this because.. because I love you..." Without warning Bright moves his lips to the end of Win's lips. His lips land exactly on Win's mole at the corner of his lips. He leaves some space for Win to reject his kiss if he doesn't like it.
