Chapter 24: Mad in Love

"How are you doing, Win?" Mr Teepakorn asks his son in a low voice.

Win makes a glances to Apo then answers his father, "I'm doing fine, pa. How about you?"

"I'm fine."

Then the conversation die. The air turns silent again. Apo who is sitting there cannot bear to sit with that atmosphere, decides to break the ice.

"Pa, Win's cafe quite famous among the youngster. He is indeed doing fine. He probably earns more profit than your company, pa." Apo jokes just to lighten up the mood.

Win glares secretly to his brother. Then his gaze shift to the glass of orange juice on his hand.

"I'm glad that you and your bussiness are doing well. You can come to us anytime if you need any help with the fund or anything. Just let pa know." Mr Teepakorn smiles as he looks tenderly at his youngest son.

In past the air between him and Win become cold after he opposed of Win relationship with his ex. That time out of anger he scolded Win and challenged his son to leave this house if he wants to continue dating with that guy.

Never he knows that his son who always obedient since he small would go against him because of that unworthy man.

He did regret for scolding Win before and not attentive to Win's feeling. If only he talks to Win patiently.... But he did it because he loves and cares about his son.

Win wants to say something about it but he ends up nodding his head. He then says, "Pa, I have something important to tell you."

His father pay attention to him.

"I have someone I like and I consider to marry this person." When his father doesn't say anything, he continues,

"I don't know why I'm coming here to tell you because even if you doesn't give permision I still want this person and I can guarantee he has good background and attitude." Win says it directly.

Mr Teepakorn feels slightly bitter inside when he heard his youngest son think of him in that way. But he cannot blame Win for it.

Apo who is keeping silent, seeing the conversation between father and son becomes tense again made him stress. He almost interrupt when suddenly his father opens his mouth.

"Bring Bright here, to our house. I want to meet and know more about my future son-in-law." Mr Teepakorn says calmly.

Win eyes widen. His ears slightly turns red. How did his father know about Bright. Apo also dumbfounded. Just now, he thought his father going to against Win again.

Before Win could ask, Apo beat him asking his father curiously,
"Pa, you know about Bright?"

Win secretly thank his brother for asking about it on behalf of him. He then focuses his attention to his father.

"Ah.. actually last week I have meeting with Mr Chiravit. He tells me that soon we will become family. I don't understand at first, but I have my guess. So, when you tell me, I think my guess is true." Mr Teepakorn explains.

He then glances to Win, "Win.. I'm sorry for my past action towards you. I don't want to make excuse for what I did but I love you dearly as my son. I really hope we can be like old time. Please, don't mad at me anymore and come home often."

Win can feels the sincerity in his father's words. In fact, he doesn't blame his father at all. He doesn't come home because he was ashamed of himself. He cannot face his father after what happened between him and his ex.

"Pa, I'm sorry too. I'm the one who is stubborn and at fault. I'm sorry for everything I did in past. I don't mad at you, I'm mad at myself and I feel ashame to face you." Win looks down.
