"How do I create an own website?" Louis asked confused as Harry turned on the laptop on his lap. They were sitting pretty close to each other so they could both see the screen and Louis had his left arm propped up on the backrest behind Harry. When Harry's tummy tingled because of that and Louis' closeness then nobody had to know.
"There are many different ways. Either you can use HTML or you use other websites to create your own." Harry explained side-eyeing Louis. He couldn't bring it over himself to turn his head fully because then he would be really close to him and he was already nervous. It wasn't the first time that they were close to each other obviously, but this time it was a lot different because of their moment in the bathroom half an hour ago and he still couldn't get around his head what had actually happened there.
"What?" Louis looked at him not understanding a thing.
"You know the program 'Editor' right?" Harry asked instead of explaining it again.
"Of course." Louis nodded. "Don't know what to do with it though."
"That's basically an empty sheet, like 'Microsoft Word' but without the tools. There you can create your website. HTML means Hyper Text Markup Language. It's basically a technical language with codes so you can create the website. Here, an example." Harry explained. He opened the Editor and wrote down a code before saving it. He opened it in the browser and the exact text appeared on an empty task.
"What the hell? How did you do that?" Louis asked baffled. He leaned forward and stared at the screen before his eyes snapped to Harry wide open.
"That's because of the codes here. There are lists for the codes for different fonts and colors and stuff on the internet. That's how you do it with HTML. Another option would be using a website. There are websites where you can create your own with precasted designs and stuff. You have to pay for it though." Harry said.
"So I pay them for using a design on my website someone else might already has? No fucking way!" Louis scoffed. "We are doing it with this HMLT thingy." He pointed to the laptop.
"HTML, Louis." Harry chuckled.
"Whatever." Louis huffed. "Let's get to work. I want red in the design just like my label." He stated.
"Woah, slow down. We are discussing the colors at the very end. First, we need a structure. What do you want to have on your website?" Harry asked.
"I have no fucking idea! I didn't want this stupid website in the first place." Louis exclaimed as he downed the rest of his wine. "I get the bottle. I won't survive this otherwise." He grumbled and got up from the couch only to come back with two bottles of wine a minute later.
"You're planning on getting drunk?" Harry arched an eyebrow.
"Definitely." Louis grunted as he poured himself a glass and also filled Harry's glass up.
"Okay, how about we make one page with the history of your Company and all of your employees? Then we could make a page of your current estates who are for sale. And definitely a page with example pictures which estates you sell or even buy, we could part the last bit also. You also buy them, right?" Harry asked. Louis just looked at him dumbfounded.
"Jesus, why are you so fucking smart? I never noticed that." He said amazed. Harry blushed at the compliment. "But, yeah. We also buy them. Only if I am able to negotiate for a good price and then I obviously sell it more expensive."
"Alright. We should start with those points then. If we get any other ideas we can implement them later. Do you have the notepad and pen?" Harry asked further. Louis held the notepad up with his left hand. With his right he was still holding the wine glass which was already half empty again. Harry sighed and took the glass out of his hands.
