I'm really sorry for the long wait, but as compensation this chapter is much longer than usual. Enjoy. x

Louis woke up with Harry's naked body cocooning him. His leg was thrown over his crotch- Louis' morning wood was pressing uncomfortably against his inner thigh- and his arm was covering his chest, his hand gripping his bicep tightly. He was drooling on Louis' shoulder snoring into his ear which Louis found more adorable than annoying. He couldn't feel his arm because Harry was laying on it pressing it down into the mattress, but he didn't mind one bit as long as Harry was comfortable and judging by him unconsciously pressing himself even more into Louis' side he certainly was.

Louis sighed contently tightening his free arm around Harry- his mood was on a high, partly because of the sunrays that were shining through the treetops warming up his face- and nuzzled his nose in his hair peeking over his mop out of the window. He allowed himself to enjoy the peace as his gaze wandered over the beautiful view in front of him. Birds were flying from tree to tree, the top of the hills in the distance were coated with a thin layer of snow which were glistening in the sunlight. Everything was so peaceful, no traffic or shouting was heard like in downtown of London. They were far away from any civilisation and Louis was glad that the boys had made this weekend possible, though he couldn't help but wonder how Charlie was doing.

He reached over to look at the time on his phone and sighed. It was ten already, so after a kiss to Harry's head he slipped his arm from under his body with a bit of struggle which started tingling when the blood flowed through his veins again before he peeled Harry off him and gently lay his head on the pillow. He quickly went to the bathroom to have a wee and brush his teeth before getting dressed in sweatpants and a jumper leaving the room silently.

As soon as he was outside he dialed Maria's number. After the third ring- as he was trudging down the steps- she picked up.

"Good morning, Louis." She greeted happily.

"Morning, Maria. I hope I didn't wake you up." Louis said worried.

"Oh no. We're up for three hours already." Maria chuckled. The boys were sitting at the table chatting, but fell silent when they saw that Louis was on the phone thinking he might had a business call.

"Morning lads." Louis greeted incidentally as he plopped down on an empty chair. "Oh, did he cause you trouble?" He asked Maria.

"Not at all. He's an angel just like always." Maria chirped.

"That's good to hear." Louis smiled to himself.

"What's the reason you're calling? Is everything alright?" Maria wondered.

"Yes, everything is great. I just wanted to check up on how Charlie is doing." Louis said casually. The boys shot him a surprised look which he successfully ignored.

"Oh." Maria said taken aback. She didn't expect Louis being the one to call her in the morning because of that reason, but it made her happy that he did. "He's doing good. He's just laying on his mat while I'm mopping the floor. When I'm done we want to go out for a walk on this beautiful day, maybe we'll watch the ducks by the lake in the park."

"Sounds amazing. I knew you'd manage everything well." Louis said knowingly.

"It would be a shame if not." Maria chuckled just as Charlie started to whine. "Oh, I guess someone needs a fresh nappy."

"Alright." Louis chuckled. "I won't keep you away from the stinker any longer." He grinned. "Oh and Maria?" Maria hummed. "Stop cleaning up, that's not your job." He said sternly but with a smile lacing his voice.
