Louis parked his car in the newly built garage that had more than enough room for both of their vehicles. He quickly looked into the rearview mirror after turning off the engine and fixed his quiff before he exited the car and walked out of the garage, letting the gate down with the key. A fresh breeze was sweeping through the air creating a perfect contrast to the bright afternoon sun. Louis sighed contently at the wonderful day and he couldn't wait to spend the rest of it with his family.

As soon as he unlocked the door and stepped into the air-conditioned house he heard muffled footsteps getting closer and a few seconds later Charlie was rounding the corner. His eyes lit up and he gasped happily.

"Daddyyy!" He screeched and wobbled over to Louis fastly who crouched down chuckling.

"Hi, little devil." He said softly and Charlie quickened his steps even more, but he was too fast and tripped over his own feet from the lack of coordination, but Louis was quick to catch him before he could fall on the floor. "Woah. Careful, buddy." He said with wide eyes.

Charlie just laughed loudly and clung to Louis' neck. Louis' ear was ringing because his mouth was directly next to it, but it wasn't like he wasn't used to it already so he didn't mind. Charlie was a loud and energetic baby.

"Where's dada, hm?" Louis wondered and bounced Charlie on his arm who laughed to himself slapping his feet against Louis' hip. "Are we a bit energetic today, mister?" Louis glared at him playfully and Charlie nodded frantically and buried his head in Louis' neck giggling. Louis pressed a kiss to his caramel brown mop and smiled to himself. God, he loved his boy so much.

Louis walked into the living room where Harry was just picking up Charlie's toys that were scattered all around the floor with a scowl.

"What's with the face?" Louis asked amused as he walked over to him and pecked his lips.

"Your son is sloppy. And I think he has anger issues." Harry scoffed.

"And why is that?" Louis chuckled. He glanced down at Charlie who was nibbling at the collar of his dress shirt and shook his head amused.

"He's always throwing his toys around and when I try to get him to tidy them up he bites me!" Harry exclaimed frowning, but Louis only laughed out loudly.

"Must've gotten that from me then." He wiggled his eyebrows.

"Louis, I'm serious." Harry scowled but he couldn't help the pink that coated his cheeks suddenly feeling the bite marks Louis had left on his body yesterday during a scene.

"H, he's eighteen months old, what do you expect? That he cleans up after he's done playing? And that he actually listens to you? He has his own head and you can't forget about the fact that he is my son."

"Oh, yeah. The stubbornness and crazy mind. Sorry, I forgot." Harry scoffed playfully.

Louis grinned wickedly but wanted to take everything back what he had just said when Charlie suddenly pulled on his tie making him choke. Harry bursted out laughing while Louis quickly grabbed the tie and scowled at Charlie who grinned cheekily at him.

"Charlie, we don't do things like that, are we clear?" He said sternly. Charlie pouted at Louis' sudden change of tone and when he said nothing and just looked at Louis grimly, he simply let him down and stared at him with his arms crossed.

"Daddy nooo!" Charlie whined and tears welled up in his eyes as he reached his arms up wanting to be picked up again. His bottom lip wobbled and his legs started shaking in desperation.

"No, stop that. Only good boys get picked up." Louis stated unfazed.

"Noo!" Charlie screamed and tugged on Louis' pants with tears rolling down his cheeks.
