"This is fucking amazing, Lily!"

The aforementioned turned her head to see Frank Longbottom– a respected member of Hufflepuff– standing over her shoulder. She hadn't heard him arrive, most likely he'd intended for that to be the case, but she was too enthralled in the science of medicine work to really notice anything else around her,

Over the past two days, Lily found herself falling in love with the trials thrown at her. Brewing medicines seemed to have a comforting similarity to chemistry for her, and having her degree in organic chemistry finally felt like putting it to good use. Two days ago she'd have turned her nose up at work away from the field, but it's funny how things change, she came to realize.

"That's actual mission-ready standard!" Frank added, stepping closer to her concocted medicine and holding a test tube of it to his nose.

"Well, you can call me Alexander Fleming from now on."

Frank laughed, "but Falcon is so much more catchy!"

"Ugh, fine! We all make sacrifices, I guess."

He nodded, a wistful grin on his rosy cheeks. Frank Longbottom had an air of calm about him that Lily enjoyed. Out of all the personalities here, Frank was one of the more demure individuals she'd run into, but she had by no means met everyone yet. There were still a number of people she was looking to see...

"—you wouldn't mind would you?"

Lily shook herself, snapping back into the conversation she had let her mind wander away from.
"Mind what?"

"If we used this?" Frank shook the test tube of Lily's medicine, "a few of the crew are off on a reckful mission and this could be useful if things go south."

"Oh," she blushed, feeling an overwhelming sense of pride burst out her chest at the idea, "of course yeah. Anything to help."

"Nice one, Falcon. Listen, I've got to get this to Alice before she leaves then, okay? It was nice talking!" He gave her a friendly pat on the shoulder and then he was gone, as silently as he came.

Lily was just about to pack up her things for the day and get ready for dinner (which namely consisted of asking someone she recognized to help her find her way back to her room and to the dining hall) when Molly Weasley poked her head in the door.

"Falcon?"

Lily looked up, she was the only one left in the training room.
"Uh-huh?"

"Wanna come with me for a sec?"
She nodded, hastily packing her things and following the Head of House out.

Molly Florence Weasley was a kind woman, roughly in her mid-forties with soft red hair and a motherly look about her. She had been the Head of Hufflepuff for at least four years according to Marlene. James had appointed her when he was fifteen, she said. Whoever was smart enough to be in charge of a spy unit when they were fifteen, Lily did not know, but clearly, he'd made the right call because Molly, or Steel was perfect for the job.

Molly's office was only across the hall from the training room and Lily quickly followed her inside. The room was painted yellow, after the house colors and a few plants dotted their way around the room, grouping at the window and competing for sunlight.
